Are my container too small?

I have 6, probably soon to be 5 since i think all but one is female, growing under a 400w MH light. I'm pretty limited on space, check out the pic. i guess it's about 3' feet long by barely 2' wide. Right now i'm using 3/4 gal (3 liter) 6in wide square containers. I just started flowering at 12/12 a couple of days ago.

Are those containers too small? Can i get away with it as long as i keep them watered? What's the smallest size i can away with? i've read up to 5 gallons but is that over kill. I expect to harvest in like 8 weeks. I've tied them all down to the side and so they are starting to sprout from the sides. I love the way that worked and how easy it was

Anyways, i guess i have room to use bigger pots if i need to. Any input would be great. Thanks,

if you even think there might be an issue with size .....yes up grade with better soil soon!!

You haven't gotten a good answer yet. The answer is leave them the fuck alone in flowering. (excuse me, it's important though) YOU NEVER SHOULD SHOCK PLANTS IN FLOWER OR TRANSPLANT SO CLOSE TO FLOWER. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER


Absolutely not you're pots are not too small.

jendice ... your looking fine if anything check out your light situation once you go into flower the plants are going to grow like crazy

Ok, i guess i've leave the the fuck alone I'd rather not fuck with them but just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

Any other opinions? Why does everyone say 3 to 5 gallons then? just curious...that's 4 to 6 times bigger than what they're in now.

btw the main stems are about 10-14" long right now but pulled down almost horizontal. The actual canopy, with the tips starting to bend up toward the light, is about 6" high from the soil level.

rule of thumb is 1 gal per foot of height

i was actually askin jendice how tall his plants were, sorry for the confusion, but with the pic you posted the size of the pots look ok for now

you can still transplant now if u wanna just make it really nice and stress free and give em some superthrive when their transplanted. Just a tip--get northern light next time, it would be perfect for that shaped room and its also a nice strong indica.

You can, but no matter how well you do it there is still shock.
It's really too late to have the plant grow enough roots to really take advantage of it. Two weeks before flowering is the latest I would do it.

You can do what you want, others get away with doing all kinds of things wrong and still think they get a good harvest, but depending on the number of plants if you do something not so good it can easily cost you ounces or more.
