they might be a white strain...someone on another post asked me what I was waiting on and I was kinda puzzled...I'm waiting for red hairs LOL

Nice looking plants but can't really tell if they are done from the pics.
Get a small handheld microscope from radio shack to check out the trichomes here http://www.radioshack.com/pwr/product-reviews/Cables-Parts-Connectors/Tools-soldering-equipment/Magnifiers/RadioShack/p/2179604-Illuminated-Microscope.html
Or you can usually tell they are close when they get a slight bronze hue to them.
They look great though!

its my first grow, I vegged outside with some completely random nutes then I bought a 1000w HPS, aircooled hood n a 400CFM 6" fan and made a big 4x4x6.5' flowering box out of wood

too soon, couple of weeks more..the safest bet is when your leaf foliage is starting o yellow and die

dude they arent done, there is no such thing as a white strain lol
Signs by visual inspection:
1)When pistols are 90-100% receded into bud (they arent reaching for the sky all healthy looking)
2)When 30% or greater pistols turn orange/red/purple/pink/brown/blue
3)When all Calyx have swollen
4) When some fan leaves have a golden tinge
Now check your trichs if you so desire and cut when they are in right phase: All trichs need to be milky at the least but ideally with 10-40% amber. Checking trichs is unnecessary and if 1-4 are true than it is fine to chop

According to the Nirvana site there is. all their seeds say White Strain Yes/No
and thank u very much I'll be looking for those 4 steps next time I think about harvesting

what ever you do dont do what most people do when there new to growing and go and do something daft like chop your plant 2 weeks into flower.

plants looks small - but nice - they are no where near ready by the looks of things in my opinion - how long did you veg for and what light you using? looks like a HPS from ur pictures the yellow GLOW

I would say at least 3-4 weeks. Your hairs will turn color, white strain or not.
