are my plants normal?

They are a week old today, but still only have 4 leaves, their 3rd set of leaves are growing but are still very small. Should they be bigger by now? I water them everyday and give them about 10 squirts out of a squirt bottle. Is that too much water? If it is, then how many squirts? And how often?

ONLY WATER AS NEEDED, not everyday.

Let them dry out untill they start to droop...
Water untill water flows out the bottom....
Let it sit for a day...
Lift pot....
Feel how heavy it is.....
When it feels lighter it needs to be watered.

Letting your soil/medium dry out a bit will promote root growth. Dont let it dry out all the way but let it dry out, then water it. Keepin it soaked all the time will give you root rot.

If I water it untill it comes out the bottom, my soil would be pretty much mud, do I really need to do that?

no...you can do whatever you want. If your soil doenst drain well than it mght not be good soil for MJ.

i'm with dirtfree. you shoulkd use a party cup or something to water. get a gallon jug to mix nutes and w/e. use a 16 oz cup of water at a time. Much easier that way. seedlings start off really slow, then just explode with growth after a week or 2 after poking outta the soil. The biggest lesson i've learned about growing is being patient. I know its hard b/c you're excited but i made a small mistake and killed plants so, just be patient. Pick up your pot and feel the weight right after you water, wait until it's really light again to water next. The higher the heat the more water it'll take. This is the only fool proof way to determine if you need to water or not.

Dude, I think it may help if you have some visual on this, youtube a few.. Watering I have found is best every 3-4 days depending on container, Yes water till there very wet ONLY per days cycle, let them dry good before next watering or nutes...Seeing examples has helped me alot, YOUTUBE get fimlialr instaed of just a read...food for thought.
