First time growing. All my plants have cloudy trichomes, but they also have buds with: cloudy. clear and cloudy. cloudy and amber. and cloudy, amber, and clear all on one bud.
how do i know if to harvest? or can i remove ready colas from branches, and leave the rest?
more info: plants are from 5 1/2 - 7 1/2 feet tall.
I have been only giving them water for last week. before that they were on roots organic, buddha grow, buddha bloom, and hpk bat sh1t. sprayed with AzaMax weekly. some buds have caterpillar damage.

also, seems like after last weeks heavy one day rain, allot of the trichomes have missing heads, and less of them on some plants. Will buds with allot of missing heads be bad?

i want to start choping the buds that have a lil amber already. Will taking the tops from branches hurt the rest from maturing more?

pics aren't the best. iphone, 20x microscope, and a shaky hand don't amount to great pics.

I have to use a 60x magnification to really tell what the trichomes are doing, hard to make a call of just the 20x.

the 20x microscope works better then my 30x loupe. U can see way better on the pics, but after uploading them they are smaller and u cant see the heads good. But one bud would have all cloudy on top with some amber and on the bottom of same bud its, 50/50 of clear and cloudy. should i pluck it anyways? because the caterpillars are heavy in my region right now after one rainy day and their eating the buds, making them rot. i sprayed AzaMax but dont want to spray more as it stinks and probably not the best stuff on buds themself. i already sprayed them 4 days ago but caterpillars were back next day.
