Not really sure if these are ready or not various pics at different zoom levels, when I zoom closer/farther, i cant tell if theres some sort of lighting issue with my microscope or if there just getting blurry cause the differnt distances relative to the microscpoe lens. Any opinions would be great. Its Sour AK, switched the lights on Feb 11th.

Thanks Everyone.

looks mostly clear with some amber how close are the lights? are you running UV?

i would say you still got a ways to go maybe 3-4 more weeks those are pretty clear i dont know whats up with the random amber ones.

Damn your fast.

Anywhere from 6inches to two feet or so. I underestimated the heigth of room/how much they would stretch when the lights were flipped and thought I would be good with 10 ft ceilings but kinda had to do so bending during the first couple weeks of flowering or they would have hit the lights and ran out of room. No UV, just normal 1000W blulbs, mixture of HPS and MH throughout the room. Would a pic with a normal camera help?

I am sorry to disagree that plant does not need 3-4 more weeks my friend. The plant has a medium flowering time about 8-10 weeks. They have been in flower for about that now. Triches are amber probably about 40-50% IF this were my grow I would let them go for maybe another week, give them dark for 36 hours or so and hack them down...of course this is JMHO.

Please explain why you give them 36 hours of darkness? also should all the triches be amber or just milky?

I was gonna skip the 36 hours of darkness, and I thought you wanted only around 10% amber, why would I let it go another week if you think thats 40-50% already?

Triches should be about 80% amber at harvest the darkness is debateable some do some don't. I do because I agree with the concensus that trichome production peaks during dark periods...this should help... You can see in the pic what kind of high you get when triches are at different stages.View attachment 2130001

thats a lota amber! everyone likes there buds different, but many people choose to harvest with just a few ambers. The amber means the THC molecules are degrading, and getting less potent. But they give way to other chemicals. Mostly amber thrichs will give you a heavier body stone.

It looks like you have trichs that are clear and many amber so it is kind of misleading. I would personally give the chop between now and the next two weeks. I would think that with the time you have gone and the amount of amber you got you should be about ready. This is my opinion though, I think your going to be happy either way though...
Happy growing/smoking!!

Have you flushed yet?
If yes...I'd harvest.

If not..flush for a week, then harvest.

But what do I know, I'm still a noob.

Been giving plain water for 2 weeks. Can't do triple the pot size cause some are 20 and 30 gallon bags.

Doing so now, does it matter if I take say 5 huge branches as apposed to the entire thing at once to hang?

You can chop in stages if you wish. In fact, I have half a plant in the flower room that is half chopped and hasn't been watered in two weeks. I really need to get in there and finish up that harvest.

looks like some damaged trichs (which look like amber once air hits the oil from the damage) and some that are just beginning to yellow. I'd say your no more than a week away from early peak window.

moving around or sqeezing touching the buds heat problems or the self destruct trich button on the side of your plant....lol

light was too close looking like they ripened a little to fast the second sample was much better i agree with about 1-2 weeks. depends on the lower trics if they are not as slowed down as the ones on top chop the top let the bottom ripen another week or 2. but its always best to chop in the morning at the time lights come on or before from the bottom, yep the whole thing. then cut it up into branches to work with or whatever.(reason is plant drop their internal fluids down during sleep to cycle ypu will wake them up when you start choping as it starts to send fluid to the wound )
