Are These Autos Even Worth Growing??

I know a lot will hate this but why grow autos????...
Maybe things have improved somewhat since i tried them many years ago? At that time i came to the conclusion that they all sucked due to crossing it with cannabis rudarelis?..

Anyway why not just grow real cannabis plants instead of autos?

Laat time i checked autos were able to be grown, harvested, smoked and medicatable/buzzabl, so what part is not real about them?

Are they not crossed with Rudarelis? This is what was meant by not real.. I'm not after confrontation with anyone but rather just some info as to why you don't just grow errrh...... normal cannabis plants instead of Autos?

What is the big appeal? Is it that they grow outside with min effort all year? Is the weed better now than it was 10 years ago because it was not as good as normal cannabis back then? in fact it was just plain poor compared to normal weed.

1k sepnt since March on their seeds XD cashed in all but 4 fem photos to pony some of the cash twords them. Not at all dissapointed.

I know they grow but in comparison to a normal plant how do they stack up?

i have grown autos some years ago and did not like the taste at all..

how is flavour and potency?

I don't grow autos because I clone, however all the freebies that I've grown were good, some better than others, just like photo plants, I remember one auto called choc-o-matic was stoney as hell

Some people, due to climate, can't grow photo's. For people with a very short growing season Auto's are ideal.

I get ya pal so its good for outdoor growing mainly then? Just don't see why if growing indoors you wouldn't just do a photo strain?

IMO the autos today are right up there with photos far as growth and potency

I grow both photo's and auto's. I've enjoyed looking through auto breeders to find some really good bud. Despite breeders times i've grown some fire bud in 60-65 days. My recent GSC auto taste just as good as legit clones i've grown. Auto's have come a very long way since lowryder and others many years ago.

you don't have to change your light schedule, at all.. you can just put more plants in as you take them out.
making it super easy to constantly have bud ready for harvest. the auto growers i follow on Instagram mainline and LST and get around 3 - 5 oz per PLANT... and yes.... it gets you very very high. look up FASTBUDS or American autoflowers.
Look up GREEN75_ on instagram and be prepared to have your mind blown. everything he grows is an auto plant.

That 3 to 5 a plant isn't bad but nothing like normal plants... I always aim for 8 to 10 oz a plant so it would be a big on on crop size... but the shorter turn around and prob smaller plant meaning I could get more in... don't think it would be any could in rdwc though but I'm sure someone will correct me on that.. cheers for all the info though much appreciated.

300 grms on the Ripley's for a GOOD auto grower. Pretty good imo. Somebody got 10 oz from SODK on afn if i recall. While i don't expect a photo grower to just grow autos well, they still shouldn't dissapoint.

If you are really interested in Autos do a little research yourself starting with The Auto Flower Network if you want to see what is being produced in the Auto space. Mephisto genetics is considered by many the leader in auto flowers so you may want to start there. Autos have changed a lot in the last couple of years. There are auto strains for both indoors and outdoors but keep in mind Autos like as much light as you can give them for the complete growth cycle. The size of autos in general are less than photo which is reflected in their yield having said this you can get 3 Oz easily from most plants with little to no effort on your part. Having said this with the right knowledge utilizing DWC there are plenty of examples of 10+ Oz a plant. Autos don't suit everyone that is for sure but neither do photos. There are plenty of strains that test above 20 % thc in autos with White Crack from Mephisto testing a respectable 28% in an independent lab test. Good luck with your research mate.

Double Grape is 27% and I've never seen a strain loved by all, but dare anyone to go to AFN and find one. Everybidy loves it and i can't wait to pop one of mi e.

It is a nice strain I got 2.5 Oz from one I did outdoors I had to keep it very small to fit the location but the smoke was very nice I just wish I had let it cure a bit longer. I rush the cure as it was my first grow and I had no weed stocks ... lol

Cheers guys for the info i'm currently doing 4 x bubblegummer (female seeds) photo plants not autos, I run rdwc, 2 x 600w hps - canna nutes(aqua veg/flores) and always get between 7 and 10 oz dried a plant,

I may run some autos outdoors next year to sample how things have improved as the last time i did an auto grow things wasn't so good but you guys have only made me more curious.
