I have 12 hindu kush plants that i bought as week old clones on may 7th (3 weeks ago today). From what im told this strain is a short bushy plant witch mine are but they still seem to be very short 10''-12'' tall and about the same wide. i had planned to put them into flower a week from today but i wanted to see what some pro growers thought

anyone care to help a noob out

never grew that strain but they do look short and bushy. Will probably double in size minimum when flowered.. you may want to prune a bit as it looks like you have tons of shading in there. Good luck..

I just noticed you are using an LED light. I am running an experiment with some seedlings under an LED (quad band with 2 watt chip set) and I will say that the plant height is not what I expected. That being said, the internode spacing is so tight, that I am expecting redicilously dense large colas... So I think it is from using LED. Plants grown under the quad band LED lights seem to not stretch much.. I have only had mine under the light for 2 weeks but I do notice the internode spacing to be really tight and the height isn't what I am use to seeing with this strain (Chem Reaper)... I will let you know what mine look like in a few more weeks...

Yes true bigger pots will let rootball get bigger which increases size. So led lights produce tighter nodes? Nice. But are more expensive huh? What's the equivalent of an hps600 in Led?

i would say they are small for 4 weeks veg. i am reasonably new to growing. were they cut from the mother plant 4 weeks ago? if so you need to allow for the rooting process. which can take up to 2 weeks.

the cuttings were rooted when i put them in the 2 gal pots 3 weeks ago. they were cut from the mother a week befor that. the ladys are doing very well, i swear the grew a full inch yesterday alone. i just went to mist them and theres tons of new growth there looking very happy today

i think those plants look amazing. very nice...no burning etc. no stretching.

i think they look great.

remember during flowering you plants will double (to possibly triple) in size...so dont worry. it doesnt look like much now but once you switch to flowering they will be probably 2ft-3ft tall.

very nice work especially if its your first go around...looked better than my first attempt. very soild.

ive got some HogsBreath and Green Crack vegging, just about 4 weeks now, and they're around 11 to 13 in.
it looks like an indica,if you ask me, nice short and bushy
they'll get a little bit taller when you transplant 'em
keep up the good work yo!

i was told that it is a indica and im sure with as bushy as it is and the fat fingers on the leafs that it must be. im gonna swap the 2 gal pots for 5 gals today i hope that helps them grow strong and bud well
