Are these seeds and therefore a male or a hermie plant?

If it's male what to do I do? It's besides 5 females and I'm flipping to flower today. Is the crop ruined

I think they're pollen sacks, which would mean it's a male. So far I've only used fem seeds, so never actually had to deal with a male. I'd imagine that since they're not flowering yet, it's not too late to remove it and avoid pollenating the females. That's just a guess, though.

OK so update: I thought my seeds were feminized but upon double checking they are standard seeds. Whoops.

I removed it as carefully as possible. Burst a pollen sac or 2. Wiped down as many surfaces as possible with wipes I bought from hydrobuilder.

Great learning experience! Stressful tho. Anyways, since I haven't flipped to flower yet, should I delay that? To let the pollen die more beforehand? Thanks for any help. First grow

Boys show sex early but why is it flowering if you haven't flipped yet?
Could it be an auto male?
I have no idea why it's showing so early. It was a long veg and I was about to flip, changed nutrients yesterday to flower version, maybe somehow relevant... according to the seed bank though they shouldn't be autos. And the females only have pre flowers so far

Nutrient change has nothing to do with it. Remove the male and carry on regardless.

I recently pushed the light schedule forward 4 hours one day, and then again by 4 hours a few days later, each time tho using extra long days to make the change, no increase to dark. Idk it's a mystery I'm new

Oh I have theory. I had a surge protector floating directly next to that plant which has a tiny light on the power switch. I removed it a week ago. Perhaps that small light being removed from the night cycle was enough of a change to make plant switch phases

Unlikely that it would only affect one plant. Males often show sex before females. I wouldn’t worry too much about the pollen, you might get a seed or two, if you do they will be on the pre-flowers, no big deal.
