are these trichomes considered cloudy?

I am growing white widow and it has been 7 weeks since 12/12 but 8 1/2 weeks since pistils were forming. Therefore I am not sure of flowering age. Anyway i have decided to use the trichomes to tell me when to harvest. I have some great pics but am not sure if these are considered clear or cloudy. Does anyone have any knowledge of trichomes and white widow? Also can I get an educated guess by these pics approx how much longer until i should harvest.

Yea, thats cloudy. See the heads?

As far as how long to flower, Mine usually go cloudy in the 6th week of flower.
Thing is, there are clear ones also. I have harvested when they were all clear because of spider mites.
I cured them for a couple months. They were fine.

Here is a shot of my widow trichomes at 9 weeks flower. If you look close you can see some clear, cloudy and a few amber.

I just cut them.

those are too early, your supposed to wait until they turn amber
Actually I have eight grows under my belt and have harvested at different times for different reasons. I agree they could have gone a week or two more but from my past experences I can tell you they will be fine.

The color of the trichomes will tell you how much light is passing through them, when they are amber no light is passing through them and they are pretty much worthless to the plant.

You can havest clear, cloudy or amber. Clear you just have to cure for a couple months to get the best high. Cloudy is suspose to give you more of a head high and amber will give you more of a body stone.

You asked for information and opinions. Thats what i give you.
Then you come back and tell me what to do?

Good luck man. Thats the last bit of info you will get from me.

Was that directed at me? DopeyG made the comment about you harvesting too soon. He never asked you anything. By the look of the bud you posted on here noone should question you. Didnt want there to be any confusion and thank you for your input.

I am glad I checked back.

You are right. I thought it was you and got a little pissy. I have to stop smoking before cruzing around. My apoligies Shamus.

As you can see from my post I would say you can harvest whenever you like. For maximum stone? I would cut my light cycle now to 11/13 and look again in two weeks. Then start flushing with half a res full of water.

Change the flush water every two days for a week, You will be down to under 90 ppms if you use R/O

The last 36 hours dark with no light at all.

Well, thats if your hydro.... lol did it again.

I neglected to add almost all the details of my grow. I am growing 100% organic using all foxfarm products. 400 watt hortilux blue for veg then 400 watt hortilux hps for flower. Soil of course as hydro is too advanced at this point. Hey lets be honest, this is my first grow and every day I am amazed that the plant is still alive. I did pretty much everything I was told not to do. Gotta learn somewhere. But then I noticed this plant is going great, I can actually get some nice buds from this Widow. Anyway, I can harvest anytime? Sounds good. Thanks again, its people like you who make it possible for guys like me to have a decent go at cannabis horticulture.
