This is my Kandy Kush it's about 2 and a half weeks old I want to atleast get 2-3 oz from it so I'm not gonna flower it yet> IMG_0013.jpg

These are bag seeds they are 3 and a half week old no expectation on yield> IMG_0011.jpg

My largest bagseed which was topped which is also 3 and a half week > IMG_0012.jpg

I heard to find out the sex early just place them on 12/12 for two weeks or until sex is shown then place them back on 18/6 for veg but it would be a 2 week delay in growth is this true

this is where i got that from fiction or fact?

3 weeks from seed or were they clones? They look fantastic. I don't know if putting them on 12/12 and then back on 18/6 would be a good idea. Just get them as big as you want them and flower. Take into account the plants grow a bit in flowering too.

Just give em time and they'll reveal themselves to ya.., Unless your just ready to throw em into flower at that stage.

Your plants will start showing preflowers and alternating nodes when it is mature and ready to flower(not that you have to, its just saying its ready to start flowering when your ready.) Within the next few weeks your plants will reveal themselves, look closely for little white hairs, they are the preflowers of females. You can often see them with the naked eye w/o much trouble. if it starts making a ball looking growth isolate the plant/s you think may be males and put them on a 12/12 cycle to confirm for sure they are male, you'll be able to tell pretty quickly after that. So their is absolutely no need to force flower your plant before its ready and then reverting it to veg, you'd waste at least 2-3 weeks due to it.

on the bucket size.If it were me,i would put them in 5 gal buckets. Those pots now are a little small for a plant thats going to produce 3 ozs

The 12 12 to find sex OS normally done on a clone from the plant so the main ant does not lose growth to revegging etc

If the ones in the 2 buckets have no expectations on yield, flower em now to keep plant smaller.if those 2 plants were to flower now, they'd probably hit 2 1/2 -3 ft. tall. Then you can see how thos buckets handle that size plant.

I'd be happy to inform you all that I'm a proud father of a baby girl! in the 2nd pic the one in the green pot showed sex today I see white hairs at the top of her I doubt if I can get close enough for a pic but I'll try

EDIT:

THis is my first female ever! I'm happy! but I'm thinking of transplanting to a much bigger pot I'm gonna go about another week or so with vegging but I want my KK to be around 3.3 so I'm thinking alittle longer I'm trying to account the growth that it's gonna put on in flowering I'll post pics once I transplant by the way I'm using a 400w MH(VEG) and 400w HPS(FLW) temps stay around 80 and humidity around 40 lights on light of temps hit 60-70 and humidity 70
