Are X2 1000w Hps Too Much For My 9x5 Tent?

Hey all, thanks in advance for your input! Growing with Soil | Seeds | Buckets

So I bought and plan to run a 9x5 gorilla grow tent with x2 1000w Gavita DE HPS lights. I want to run a 8-10in output fan (~800 CFM) with a Phresh Carbon filter and since the tent will likely be very hot, also put in an active intake fan (6-8 inches for ~600 CFM).

On top of all of that we will put 2-3 clip-on fans inside the tent - will it still be too hot? Too much light? How can we improve our setup? Would love to hear anyones thoughts!

Cheers,
Sexmo

well, this 1st obvious question is are those lights glass covered and going to be air cooled, directly connected to that inline fan?

Keep temps in check
Have enough room to raise the lights. A DE too close will bleach/burn the fuck out of sensitive girls in that kind of footprint.

You're going to need an ac pumping directly into the tent. You need three feet in between the plants and the gavitas. It's very possible but if you're not willing to run an ac that's gonna be a problem. You also need some growing experience to pull that off because you got to keep them really short.

I'd also be calculating power usage. A pair of 1000's...fans...possible AC for heat survival...that's going to make your power meter spin like a top out there...you running a generator or using the electric company's juice...?
