I move my plants every morning and evening. So if I wanted to ... I could bring them in early ... forcing them to think the days are shorter and put them in flowering. But yah..I got lots of pre-flowers and I can tell it wants me to help into flowering .. but i'm holding it back to grow for one more week.
 
ive got two sweet tooth, gdp, and grape ape and they are all starting to get hairs. dont know if theyre really flowering yet though

Shoot.... you might get an extra ouce worth in growth in this last week. The plant will still grow in flowering but not as much. So to maximize your harvest I would wait. Shit...I mean if you waiting 7 months all together like me...what's another week..

My plants are outdoors in the ground or in huge root pots.They will flower when that strain is supposed to flower. I cant make them flower or make them not flower.

When they start showing real preflowers i will use start using my bloom nutrients to help speed up the process.

And when they flower they still grow just not as fast.
 
Still vegging with a vengeance here, I expect 2-3 weeks until flowering starts like it did last year

Although one of my plants has officially started flowering, Purple Gorilla. Will be applying some open sesame tonight to speed this shiet up.
 
I got a free bubba red dwarf with my seed order this spring. It is one giant mass of budd. expect to harvest in two weeks. all other plants vegging with a vengence as someone else said but nothing but leaves of green at the moment. Looks to be at least 2 weeks?
 
My plant started flowering early July after vegging it inside for a couple months and putting it out around our summer solstice. Looks good so far, minus some curled fan leaves from a few hot days we've had. As long as it finishes strong with some good light I'll be very happy. Last year's took forever to finish, and ended up with some sloppy lookin bud. Major disappointment.

wat strain or strains you got going???
 
i have a Durban Poison that started to bloom, last week, but it is an historically early finisher. I've harvested ripe buds as early as September 15th. More often I let them go until about the last week of September. All my other strains are still vegging, but will show flowers by the first week of August, for a mid October finish.

is that an autoflower? if not, it sure did start flowering early.

Hey veggie you ever grow Durban Poison before? I was considering going with Dutch Passion's Durban Poison this year, but decided not to. I couldn't take the chance on a sativa dominant strain, even if it is advertised as an 8-9 week strains and early finishing. Guess maybe I should have given it a go.

Hey there..I basically call july the last veg month..August is pre-flower transistion month(plants may be flowering but kinda slow) sept is bud month..end of sept begining oct finish time..I have grown some sativas where they started two weeks later compared to others tho...peace
 
im in socal and started seeds/clones on 4/20. all seeds but one are flowering, one of them already has golfball sized nugs, the one that hasnt flowered yet is about 9 feet tall, but deoesn't even look as sativa dom as the others(weird.) all the clones are in flower, and most of them seem to have begun very early july. seems super early to me, but maybe plants flower earlier down here in socal than in norcal? cuz i know the summer days get way longer up in humboldt than down here in LA county area.
 
oh yeah seeds strains are chemdawg mom with an unknown father(most likely og) and the one that hasnt flowered is a random seeds that sprouted in my backyard, which i have named 'great white buffalo' and as far as clones go ive got god's gift(farthest along of the clones) corleon kush, og og, fire og, white russian, and beastly og.

I find this interesting and possibly lucrative..lol..I never heard or read this before but if it's true then that means we are in different latitudes!?!?..Any way enjoy the early outdoor harvest my friend..Peace

I started growing the strain '87. It has been my wife's favorite, ever since. I've played with 3 separate lines of the strain. Some finish a bit later. Two of those lines came from Dutch Passion. '87 and '07. Although they say the line has never been hybridized, the first batch finished earlier and looked more sativa-ish. Flavor was very close to the original. The third line spent a decade in Oz before arriving in my garden. Very high quality/potency/flavor.

I'd recommend it.

I'm assuming you are growing outdoors.(You'd be surprised at some of the things I've seen over many years. Straight question.)

You're a few hundred miles South of me. Your plants should finish a few days later, in SoCal.

I'd really like to see current pix, because heavy budding this early is unheard of, unless your plants are autoflowering.

How big are those that are flowering?
