Arizona Growers Thread

Cool thanks for that. I was reading over the pdf document that the Dept. of Health had posted up of its 1st draft. Trying to just get all my ducks in a row so I can get started as soon as it's legally possible.
 
I need to get some clones... my seeds are not germinating.. I even brought these from texas and still nothing.. wondering WTF... I have everything else.
 
germing seeds should be no problem lol

get a paper towel, wet it, squeeze out most water, place seeds in damp paper towel, fold paper towel, place paper towel in plastic baggie, check back in a day or two.. warmth helps maybe stick it under the cable box
 
but shouldn't you put in a cup of water and tap ever day to see if it sinks, then go with the paper towel method. also I've heard of an extremely dilluded bleach % in water may help to fight fungus bacteria ect.

it goes without saying you should only germ strong healthy looking seeds

Everything is not SET IN STONE... We will know for sure the details April 2011... Right now everything is a Draft not the final set rules... Sso we must wait....

I found out what my particular problem was. I read on the internet and found a site where it was explained to soak my seeds in distilled water...I did, it worked,and here is how I did. find a metal contaner like the one that camimille(sp) tea comes in.. get a shot glass and some distilled water. Put 1/2 shot glass of distilled water in the metal container, place seeds in water then close lid. Place CMC(closed metal contaner) under your grow light, CMC will help elevated the distilled water temp, so 24 hrs later all my seeds had sank and sprouted.... I placed them in another shot glass 3/4 of my favorits grow mix dirt and soaked it with my distilled water...placed the cracked seeds on top.. then covered with another small layer of my favorits soil. I then used a spray bottle to mist the top of it real good...I placed my glasses in my grow box and put a single grow light on it...I am now waiting on them to sprout so that I can transfer to my Hydro system...:)

Bleach? what are you a NOOB grower? Keep that shit away from the plants... think about it... if tap water contains chlorine.. and chlorine causes chloritis in your plants... WTF are you thinking by adding CHLORINE BLEACH to the water that will germinate your seeds? THAT MAKE NO SENSE AT ALL...so do us all a favor.. READ MORE AND POST LESS!!!!!

listen you self righteous jackass, maybe you need to do a little more researching and a little less ignorant assuming. I also have a book that says the same thing. thats not to say I personally use bleach myself, but their are some more experienced growers out there that do, its just another method is all
 
Chlorine is a disinfectant and can be used in small amounts but in larger doses it will kill your seeds/plants.

So you are both right.

He means you are right for suggesting that the use of a tiny amount of bleach is ok to germ your seeds and he is also saying that I am also right for saying that if you use bleeach your seeds wont germinate due to chloritus so.. touche...now back to your regularly scheduled bickering, bitching, gryping, moaning and complaining....
 
if you would have read my initial post, I clearly said "and extremely dilluded % of bleach" but no, you saw the word bleach and said to yourself heres my shot to be a tough guy on some nub in the forums.

I actually thought you were a noob talking out your ass... but since your last comment, I have revised my thought process to... you are an immature noob talking out your ass... that is all no more, no less... dont read into it as it has no underlying meaning...its pretty simple really.
 
you know, I would understand if you were a more experienced grower telling me I don't know what I'm talking about, but your really no different than me, big whoop you got a couple grows under your belt, your just a more arrogant noob. whose hostile toward advise, or different opinions.

please do everyone a favor and don't EVER grow for medical patients! I could just imagine what your negative attitude does to your crops.
