I am not trying to call you out by any means but what I have read and studied on CBNs and CBDs it's it is actually a different chemical produced other then THC. It doesn't have anything to do with converting. The CBD content has been the chemical that STOOD OUT to have medicinal benefits. For instance, in Europe they have recently found that CBDs can rapidly decrease cancer cell production. From my understanding, THC and CBD/CBN contents are completely different. Correct me if I am wrong but that is what I was taught. Another term I've heard about CBDs is that that is the resin production on the leaves rather then the ones on the bud ( that we know as THC)
Read US Patent #6630507 explains a little about what I am talking about... But CBCs and CBDs play a role in the production of THC.. yes different compounds completely... But they work together in different ways...
