Battled Fungus gnats and I tried everything, I had to cut out Azamax because it really made the Larry OG's sad so I went for predatory nematodes a microscopic ringworm that feeds on gnat larvae the stickies is to catch the adults. The Fungus Gnats like to land on your medium and have a fuck fest and then plant larvae deep in your medium. The Nematodes went " NOM NOM " on the larvae..It works the flies wont land anywhere near the medium (coco chips) to them its like landing in pool of hungry sharks and alligators.

She has blown up! Looks like she is taking that topping well...at least it looks topped ha ha. :) keep it cold and that LA will come out super purple :weed:
 
Can anyone please clear up for me exactly how many plants you're legally allowed to have? I have now been told 18(6 flower 6 veg 6 clones), 15(6f 6v 3c) and just the basic 12.

Where do we get predatory nematodes?

If you are a patient with cultivating rights you can only have 12 plants. if you are a caregiver and have only 1 patient you can only grow 12 plants. if you are a caregiver you can only have 5 patients. As a caregiver you are allowed to have 12 plants per patient and a max of 5 patients

I have always used a wide-bowl with some water and dishsoap in it. They love the water and then die from poisoning in the water so dead bugs aren't all over the place. Don't Lady Bugs eat foliage?
 
Also, if you have fans blowing over the plants the gnats can't fly as much; therefore, they have less opportunity to mate.

Yes, I vegged with a HPS this time to try out. The 2 600 watt HPS got me sprouts in 7 days with waaaay too much electric expense. 6 T5's got me sprouts in 3 with far less electric expense. As far as foliage growth and veg. time. 4 weeks under the t5's and 6 under the HPS to get to 18 inches before switching to 12/12.

So, lesson of the day is not to veg. under HPS or MH! Huge waste of money.

Yeah I have that and fly paper its not that they dont die its before they die they have a fuck fest and drop larvae in your medium which eats the roots, so your bowl isnt killing the larvae just the adults and they will keep coming back.
 
Ok I got you now. Hydrogen peroxide mixed with water kills almost all of the adults and larvae. Along with all the other organics. This has helped me reduce major gnat probs, but once you are infested I have heard it is nearly impossible to rid 100%. Best way I know of is to make a completely non-favorable environment as possible for the little f'ers. Little moisture, lots of cfm, cleanliness. For me, gnats always got out of hand when I would over-water.

Most you see do not. There are many varieties of ladybeetles but only one eats plant matter. It is yellow with around 20 spots. All other ladybeetles are a beautiful thing to always have, they don't touch plants at all.

Also, it isn't the soap acting as a poison it is killing them by drying out their exoskeleton.
 
So, essentially the soap acts as a poison by dehydrating their membrane... thanks, even though I didn't ask how the soap poisons them. Probably because I already knew and didn't think it was important, but thumbs up for the clarification.

As a caregiver with 1 patient, as long as you yourself are a patient you can have 24 plants, A caregiver with the max patients of 5 can grow 12 for each of his/her patients plus an additional 12 for themself, totaling.... yes 72 plants.
 
ok... hey guys whats up.... i got northern AZ blueberry cross plants, purple kush, purp kush times a blue cross hybrid i made, and nirvana ice too...
