i am not sure if the hermie gene is separate from thee gender gene in the plant. i am also not sure if the hermie trait is a phenotypical or genotypical trait. by that i mean does the gene for hermie get passed on to the next generation but is only expressed if activated by environmental influences. or is it a characteristic that will naturally express itself if the phenotype is there much like any other phenotypical trait.
i also have a partner. we have been working together since we both started. there are a lot of advantages to working with someone else. we had been friends for a while before hand. trust is key.Yes, I have a partner. Two minds is always better then one. Funny story how we met. He had some dank and I had some dank. Traded some nugs, both loved each others product. It was a matched made it heaven lol. We both used same base nutrient, same pot size and same lights. Very funny how similar some of us growers areAfter hanging and talking a little more he decided to show me his operation. I was impressed and trusted him enough to see mine. Ever since then we have been doing it together. Almost a year or so now. He brought the "perfect" nutrient regiment as I brought on the training and cloning part to the table. He had his special strains as well as I. Like I said before, nothing better then having two minds with the same overall goal in the end. We grow strictly for quality...anything over what we expect is pretty much made into bubble. We are very disciplined growers and do a lot of things that people would call crazy or even excessive. But we have always documented our results and seem t get that much better every grow. I was lucky enough to find someone that truly shares my same passion...growing. Doesn't matter how much money we make or how much we yield per plant. As long as our babies look, smell, and taste amazing...that's a job well done in mine and my partners eyes. It also helps that we are very good friends too ha ha
that is extremely funny because zach braff (white guy) is actually gay. he came out a while back after the show ended and now when ever i see that show it gives it a whole new second meaning.

That sucks... I already got a lady on my side, but she's not interested in the hobby at all. She's just happy as long as I'm not spending money on sacks. Which I haven't in a while, actually making a little extra, which is nice.
Would be cool to share the passion with a fellow grower. Oh well where I lack in grow partners I'd say RIU makes up for...
Dang that sounds like me. Hey any of you guys like football or drink? We should meet at a bar or something for a UFC fight or a football game or something. Fuck it were all in the same boat, a reason to get out and maybe meet a friend with the same intrest we dont have to like each other at the end of the day we can just go back and vibe on RIU if it dont work out. Honestly I dont expect it too, but I still want to meet you guys. My girl dont want nothing to do with my grow and my brother is going loco on me over his ex-stripper WIFE! Because we were close but she didnt like that so im by myself now. I like being alone but I remeber when I was young and I had friends in middle school and we had so much ideas to be succesful and I just miss that now we have the same intrest this might work if not fuck it. So anybody up for some drinks and football or a UFC fight lets set it up.

I have all these great ideas for the future (at least in my head, lol) and no one with similar goals to discuss them with. What part of the valley do you live in Don2009? Or are you even in Maricopa?

i have 2 malawi gold females in flower. i only grew them out once before a long time ago. no idea if it's any good or not.
one of them is a runt but i want to test it anyway. the smell of the other one is really nice. sweet, almost like bubblegum. unfortunately, i need to cut this crop around 65 - 70 days in flower and i think these are 80 plus day sativas. if it's any good, i'll grow out a bigger sample next time. i mixed some ssh and 3rd dimension this morning. i'm floating. i had to turn all the lights out because they were too bright!

That would be cool to have a little "growers"club. But in all honesty we would be an odd looking group. Lol I am pretty sure I am one of the youngest cats on here. Me hanging with all you old men would be weird. Plus you guys might hold me hostage to give up my nute regiment lol I've met jjlongo and beaver...very nice guys. I could see myself hanging out with them even though there is a big age difference. I guess it's easy to get along with someone when they share the same love you do
