Arrange a discount for RIU mebers and posts gets deleted.

WFT gives....
I arrange a discount at Pick and mix seeds for all RIU members.... make a post stating same ...
ok I provide a link to said site which is an affiliate link ( and state so)
And the post gets deleted.
WTF is that all about ? do the admin on RIU only like threads relating to the 'TUDE' ...someone getting a kick back somewhere along the line ?

Hows not letting RIU members know they are entitiled to a discount at a seed bank.... HELP MEMBERS ?

If you read the rules you would know that you are not supposed to post links for your gain yes its helping others but its also giving you money and thats against riu rules.Thats advertising and spam.
Are your earnigns going towards riu?no
Is your earning more than the discount for the customers?yes
So that should answer why it got deleted

So if the discount matched my affliate commision that wouldn't be an issue ?
Seems odd.
I sort of get it, as it can be a fine line between someone trying to help a forum and and trying to blatantly financially gain from it.
Next time I'll remember to not bother trying to help out and look after #1.

Relax dude shit gets taken down for a reason. If they feel it would jeopardize the site it will be deleted. That's why they have rules. I'm no angel I had a thread removed and bad rep for arguing with trolls and the sad part is I shouldn't have fell into the drama. I should have known better I was being stupid and should have followed the rules.

Was waying up helping out with a little bend in the rules it aint as if it IS my SEEDBANK.
I get everyones point.
Rules get taken a little far sometimes.
