Arrrrrrg! Have to move my girls asap!

My future EX SIL will be getting served with papers possibly as soon as tomorrow. The creep had me fooled but our daughter finally couldn't put up with any more of his terribleness - I won't go into it - but he has chron's and so I was going to provide him with some oil once I harvested my girls.

I started them indoors June 12th, but the consensus is he's going to make an anonymous call to the sheriff dept. and tell them I'm growing 50 plants just to make sure they come. I'm only growing four. I'm not even sure they'd come to check it out but I can't take any chances.

The only place I can take them is a property he doesn't know about that I own about 15 miles away. Way out in the sticks. I just started them flowering about 10 days ago and they're already growing beautiful buds. This is my first grow I DON'T WANT TO MOVE THEM but alas, even if they die I can't risk getting busted.

So will they live after moving from indoor coolness of ~78° to Texas outdoor heat? Here's what our lo's & hi's look like for the next 10 days or so:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 95. South wind around 5 mph becoming north northwest.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. North northeast wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. North northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. North northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82. East northeast wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. East northeast wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. South southeast wind around 10 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 86. South southeast wind around 10 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 87.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.

The sunup/sundown is right at 12 hours here now and will get shorter each day, so they shouldn't go back into veg. I plan to place the 5 gal buckets they're in, in holes in the ground and space them apart from each other not all clumped up. I don't think the DEA fly-over's are very frequent here.

I guess what I'm asking is what do I need to know in order to . . .

A) Keep them alive after such stress (they will stress out won't they?)

B) Keep them as stealthy as possible in the woods. There's no traffic where they'll be from hunter's etc. so I don't think they'll be discovered by civilians. I can also visit every two days or so to water without being noticed - this is a very rural place.

Any tips much appreciated. I already learned the most important one:

NEVER TELL ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO CHANGE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE!!!

Do what you have to do man. The plants will survive if cared for properly (moved with care). Go ahead and move them and I'm almost positive you'll be fine, cannabis is a hearty weed.

yeah its pretty hard to kill the fucking thing if u try lol if anything the nautral light might stop flowering but im assuming they wont be out there for to long so u should be fine just make sue no animals get to it cause then ud be fuckd

They will probably like the Texas heat more than the grow room. I still wouldn't put them in direct sun for12 hours the first day, maybe under a tree.

This is a relief - sort of. Because this place is full of critters & insects. How can I protect them? Millions of grasshoppers will I have to wrap them in burlap? My wife has been growing her tomato plants all year in burlap and she was able to finally keep the grasshoppers away. Do grasshoppers like weed? That's probably a stupid question.

Also you say the natural light might stop them flowering do you mean permanently!? I'm just guessing but I think they need to flower for another 6 weeks at least.

They may run initially for a week or two but then you will get even bigger buds than if you were indoor.
So, what's the burlap technique? Like a burlap pot or burlap brown house? Just make a greenhouse real quickly if you can, that will keep the pests out.

yeah be carefull when moving them into sun, do it a few hours at a time gradually increasing it till its under full sun. The old growth will die if you just put it out there but even still new growth will start and be fine

i see. that fucking sucks... but hey. live and learn. maybe you set up the grow at this new place and cut your losses by growing there now instead. oh well... im sure you'll get it done.

so heres what needs to happen - i've done shit like this before. even short rides in a car can fuck with a plant if you go to fast so you need to wait until night time, when your plants are asleep - and being very careful never to expose them to light until morning, toss a stake in the middle taller than the plant and tape black plastic garbage bags over the pots. iunno what your situation is with transport but it looks like you're driving 15 miles veeery slowly at night with 4 flowering cannabis plants in the car with you. sketchyyyy! so you might as well haul a joint on the way. carefully unload plants first then gear, then set up new grow room. voila!
seriously though.. good luck.

Man I don't know anymore. This is all going to be very involved and my wife is freaking out. And I'm getting real paranoid about it too.

I might just have to kill them shred them and spread them to the wind and wait a year or so when things cool down.

If worse comes to worse & I have to do that, can I just shred these now and seal them until the coast is clear and then make hash from the leaves, or is the thc too low still? This realy, really, really sux big fat ones.

If only I'd just kept my mouth shut. Everyone else learn from this. TELL NO ONE.

Well, the good news is it looks like my daughter & SIL may be able to work things out after all and keep their family together. There's going to be a separation but they both want to work through it. That's great news for my grandboys.

The bad news is before that was apparent I'd gotten so paranoid I didn't even want to chance driving them to where I was going to move them, so I cut up all four girls and threw them off of a nearby bridge. They are totally unimportant compared to the happiness of my daughter and grandboys but still, I have a deep sense of loss I can't shake. My daughter feels terrible but I told her I can grow more girls, but we can't grow another dad for the boys. No big deal.

One thing I will say after all this . . . . . . . is that I'm not saying anything. :dunce:
