Take 2 ounces of leaf, (recipe calls for leaf, but I use 1 Oz of bud, 1 Oz of leaf) and place in a large stock pot. Cover well with water and add 1/2 cup olive oil. Bring to boil and simmer at a low boil for 5-6 hours, adding water as needed.

Allow to cool and strain through cheese cloth, saving liquid. Place liquid in refrigerator over night.

Seperate the olive oil layer off the top and place into a small pot, heat over low to melt. Add some beeswax, about 1 ounce, experiment to get the consistency you like. Cannabis active ingredients bond to the fat

Works fantastic. Spread on affected area wait 15 minutes for medicine to penetrate. I use it for a knee problem, pain relief for me
4-6 hrs.

Anti-inflamatory
Analgesic
Pain killer

I have arthritis in my hands and I also find this very effective. I substitute coconut oil for the olive oil as I use the oil for my psychoactive treats also. I pretty much substitute the coconut for any type of oil or butter called for in any recipe I like to dose. The beeswax would make it better suited for a balm for sure, thanks for the good idea.

Does this really work?!! It sounds awesome and I would love to try it. I'm not in a position to be wasting an oz when I can make myself good edibles, so if this does work? ... then I may try it for my ddd! :weed:
