Article about removing fan leaves with indica dom grows. Has anyone tried this?

I just did it to one of three I have down. Too early to call.

Though the one I did it to is weird. Have never seen so many sugar leaves before. But she was like that already which was I picked her..

oh god not another one of these threads...
No one's forcing you to read it. In fact I'd prefer that you stay out. I've been on this forum for over two years and I've never seen a thread on this subject nor a link to an article claiming it works. I'd like some input from various people who have done this before I give it a shot. We are talking about hard work that I don't want to comprimise.

I trimmed lower shit off on this white widow x bigbud grow since NO light was getting down there anyway. This grow i then produced the largest cola ive ever grown personally with my 400w HPS. Coincidence? Maybe.

Ive been practicing this ever since i started doing it.

Hopefully this maybe has swayed some people to try it. AS far as turning the plant male like some people say could happen has never happened to me. Infact the only hermi plant i ever came across i didnt even trim at all. lol.

:peace:

I've defoliated and had great results. I don't give a fuck what anyone says against it. Try it for yourself on a side by side and let the results decide uour opinion. Toi many book smart growers here who think they know it all and dont even have a fucking clue.

I liked this article. After researching on defoliation I have decided to try it myself because my indica girl has tons of leaves. I will post before and after photos late tonight after I do it.

^^^^^ defoliatin stunts growth and hurts yield. Plants absorb light and convert to food and energy through leaves not buds. if pulling leaves. only do it during veg. more and larger leaves means happy plant and larger buds. Pulling off the lower third of growth before entering flower is ok. to pull fan leaves from the buds is bad.

weird, in all the strains ive done this too it seems to trigger explosive growth not even days later.

Well as promised here are the pics. I hope this works lol. I removed a ton of leaves so we'll see in the coming days how she reacts. One thing I noticed for sure though was that there is much better light penetration to the lower buds now. Afghan Kush x white widow by the way..
