Asked 1000X already but; if limited to 3 strains, what would they be?

damn, simple percentages and math ...never looked at it that was esp. since fem seeds cost 2x more
1. Critical Sensi Star via Delicious Seeds. Kushage (KSG) from T H Seeds. 3. Afghan Kush Ryder from World of Seeds. All 3 are easy to grow, clone and re-grow. All 3 can be harvested as early as 40 days flowering. CSS, orangebud, has pistils turning from white to orange in the 4th week. Killer buzz, growers' delight and fast! What more could you want? Obviously some people like this question and some don't. Honestly, I don't think I've found my three all-time favorites yet. Right now the one I have the most respect for is God's Gift. Fun but stoney, it's the first Indica dom plant I've smoked. I was always a sativa fan.
I grew Jillybean, and still love it. I'm growing Pennywise next, as it's a harlequin cross and I want to try that. I actually have about 20 different strains of seeds in my fridge. I went on a buying binge a couple of times.
I was visiting a friend in Cali and she has a card so I got to try the God's Gift (it doesn't come in seed form, so I doubt I'll ever be able to grow it), Maui Waui, White Widow and Sour Diesel. I really liked the Sour Diesel a lot. Hell, I liked them all for different reasons.
What I really want is a shelf with 5 or 6 mason jars of different strains of bud so each night I can choose depending on how I'm feeling. Kind of like deciding what kind of beer/wine/drink I'm in the mood for...

What you said kryp is exactly what I do! I rotate between 6 and 8 jars throughout the year. Bubblegum and Jamaica Airee have treated me well for many moons now (lol). I wouldn't have been able to answer this a year ago as I was only growing outdoors then, but after seeing this question posted, I was able to help out with my point of view on three strains that I prefer.
Besides, some of us actually enjoy having these questions come up from time-to-time, as it allows us to reflect on our own grows and experience and to visualize at the forefront some of the benefits/drawbacks to certain strains that we don't often think about in an aggregate fashion.

Spek's comment got me reflecting. I think my overall growing goal would be to have a set of top strains like you say -- maybe three or four. One sativa, one indica and one or two in the middle. I'd choose them under the following criteria:
-they all have to be social and anti-anxiety, meaning I can't feel paranoid on them and they should inspire me to be open and friendly toward the people I'm with, and relaxed overall.
-the sativa needs to give me creative energy, plus giggles from time to time.
-the indica needs to give me a full body stone that dulls pain but, again, enhances relationships. No blind-stupor couch-coma for me.
-the ones in between should be just that, differentiated by some other aspect.
I'm interested in Pennywise because it's a harlequin cross and good for pain. Jillybean, which I grew last year, was a giggly sativa-dom, but now that I'm getting more comfortable with regular smoking it's feeling a little light. But that might be perfect for one of my middle-of-the-road smokes. If Pennywise works out, then I have my two middle smokes.
In my fridge waiting for a grow I have a lot of sativas -- lambsbreadxpanama red, african genetics, thai genetics, original haze. I also have The Church, which might be an indica, I've lost track...
At the end of the day I'd like to grow "my four" plus one wild card a year. And that way if the wild card surpasses one of my go-to smokes I will replace it and that way continually refine my inventory. That would be very cool.

Psychological manipulators means when you smoke your consciousness shifts to a new perspective allowing the smoker to focus on problems that he pushes out of his perception. It's my favorite part of smoking certain kinds of marijuana. It's therapeutic.
On a second note, consider not being suck a dick. We already have enough police acting this way towards us. We don't need it from our members.
