looking for a laptop and i came across a Asus - 15.6" Laptop - 8GB Memory - 750GB Hard Drive - IMR Matte Dark Brown Suit

good laptop? i plan on using it for making a few videos and some picture stuff, maybe even some beat making stuff to do on spare time for when harvest gets here.

asus is basically an acer aspire. They're not great, I've bought my wife four of them in the last three years. Yeah, four... in the last three years... need more?

I just bought a vaio for about 300, and it's doing great; 8g ram, i think 860gb hd (I always use an external hd).

The screen isn't huge, I think 15.1, but it works well and was only slightly less than the latest aspire one.

I'm personally not a fan of dell or gateway... What's the price? got a link? I might ask my wife to eshop in the morning, she's great at this shit...

no but they were on best buys website, thats where im looking now, i gues my price range i slike 400-500, have to get new tires for the winter for it would of been 600, and 200 for camera.

I might have a camera I could give you, I just have to see if it still works; it's about 5 years old and has been in a box in the closet. for 400-500, consider a vaio, my wife's is two years old and going strong, and this new one isn't as oo la la as hers, but for 300 bucks it's awesome. I just needed it to email and run autocad, but mine actually outperforms hers though she's got the super-deluxe model. of course, hers is over two years old and mine is only a couple of months...

I've had hp's too, I like this sony better than any other pc I've owned (including my favorite dell desktop that no one can figure out how to fix (10yo)).
