It isnt about liberal and conservative although the government wants you to believe so. It is about the government institution against the people. Democrats and Republicans are sucked into the system and those that go along are retained while others are spit out. The institution maintains itself and no longer has the will or best interest of the people as the goal. You just saw what a massive amount of collusion that goes on between the political parties, the media establishments and the election manipulated by special interests.
Healthcare is a product. Insurance is for accidents or unexpected things. What government is trying to do is wrap up all maintenance and repair into one product and call it insurance.
How much do you think you would be paying for your auto insurance policy if it covered all maintenance, repairs, oil changes and gas fillups?
If you want healthcare to be cheap it needs to be direct pay to competing specialized institutions. Insurance should be for medical emergencies, not to cover the cost of an office visit when you have a cold.
