thanks masta, how long do you think these will be growing longer for?

I just got a 65-100x microscope, but its pretty difficult for me to identify the crystals... Is there anyway to ballpark it exteriorly?

Also how much buds can plants these tall produce? they are pretty small.

the buds themselves will swell up along with the calyx's. the buds also will take on a different amber tint. also a lot of the hairs will turn reddish brown. when there are white hairs new growth is still happening. of course i am no expert and the best way is to look at the trichs along with the whole overall appearance of the buds. hope this helps. looks like maybe around 2-3 weeks give or take a bit. the links are from the growfaq about harvesting and trichs.

yeah bad news guys, so I picked a bud off of "purple" looking plant and I dried it for 2-3 days then when I was picken it... LOADED with seeds... soooooo dissappointing...

im figuring out now whether or not I should chop the hermie for sure or whether or not its going to affect the other 5 girls i have here...

any advice would be great, I will name the plants next time I can post pics but as of now my camera is not around

heyo i have a question
looking through your journal i realized that you have the same kind of problem i have
your fan leaves, starting from the bottom of the plant, seem to be yellowing and eventually dying(thats what mine do)
i have no idea what the problem is
i've lurked and lurked on rollitup for a while but all i ever stumble across OMG MY PLANTS NEED HELP
anyways
i was thinking it might be a MG deficiency but i was wondering what you did about it
did you just say screw it and keep growing
thats what ive been doing seeing as how the leaves die at a slower rate than the new growth at the top. the leaves tend to turn yellow then really yellow then die
i hear thats what happens towards the end of flowering
but what if it happens all during veg + flowering

check the pH of your water, may be nutrient lockout. The other big indicator of leaves at the bottom falling off and dying after yellowing is nitrogen deficiency... What soil are you using, what nutes are you using, what concentration, how old are the plants, what is your water pH?

During flowering its regular for them to start turning yellow, its the plants sucking the rest of the nitrogen out of the plant so I am not worried about that at this stage in the grow. However, if this is happening to you during vegetative growth I would start adding some sort of fertilizer, one high in Nitrogen(Remember on the label it is N-P-K). You will see great results, leaves get healthy, plant grows big and strong which come flowering time will result in bigger bud

9 weeks into flowering: below are the buds that I have picked and dried, starting to cure them now(a little premature but I NEEDED some smoke :))

I have a few plants still growen, they need a little more time, and two of these look like my cash crops so I'm excited for them...

one of these looks jacked up though, it looks moldy, gross, infested idk it looks like I grew straight up Mexican, which is possible cause 2 of my plants were gimp genetics... the others look frosty as fuck. check it out guys
