What about the scorpion? A poster in this thread said a diode on there scorpion burnt out?should not be happening for that price! I’d really like that optic with the built in UV but I’m not in the market for that right now

With the scorpion they run the boards pretty low, so keeping them close isnt an issue. I have my 2 boards at 300w combined 24" from the tops no problems

The diablo and the rspecs are different beast. And seeing I've never ran a rspect board much less a diablo. I'm going to take it easy for a week or so and see how the plants react to all I've got the ability to throw at them now. The standard old 260 could be a plant burner. But in my tent it always seemed just a bit lacking,,,, ie the upgrade. It's going to be fun no matter what. :)

Keep me posted I’m big on customer service, yeh I’m gonna exchange this 650r for the scorpion or a rail led I believe, when I convert the spare room then maybe, I was under the impression that the scorpion was more warehouse or room style and the 650 was more tent style guess I had it backwards, here’s my current grow just before lights on with the Mars hydro

Not to mention I don’t run co2 because my tents are ventilated, also I need an ac and other things for the room that I keep the tents in

I use 2 350r Diablos hung at about 12inch from canopy, I find the spread to be more even than the 650r and not far off the scorpion. When I next refurb I’m thinking about running 3 of them over a 5x5 with co2. The scorpion has the best spread out of the hlg factory lights though so if y want 1 light and it has to be hlg I wud go this route
