Perhaps I'm missing something but doesn't 1000ppm equal 1EC??????
Heya NWI,

since I'm in mS, I have to multiply by 700 or 500 depending on the Multiplication factor. Mine is 700. So when i have a reading of 3.51 it gets mulitiplied by 700 and give me 2457 which is exactly what I get in the middle of my flowering running at 70% or full nutrient amount..

but you do have to worry about leo (law enforcement officer). if your room is not insulated im sure helicopters with infa red would be able to see the hot spots in ur attic.your attic is already hott + more equipment will make it even more hott. im not trying to burst your bubble. If u check out some of my first threads i was going crazy trying to get my tent to work up there. but it was just un-realistic without me spending a chunk of change.
The supreme court (of the USA) has ruled that they cannot use an infra red sensor without a search warent. its still good to be better safe then sorry, but i did a 12 page paper about it in my law and ethics class last semester, so i thought id throw it out there

I don't understand why no one has mentioned radiant barrier. Construct with radiant barrier and an r-19 or
r-34 wrap and you have zero heat sig in an attic space.

Maybe everyone assumes that everyone is aware of it!
Could be! I kinda doubt it though. That was one thing I made sure was included in the build of our house.
Then I constructed a 6 x 4 x 8 in the attic using the same thing. Wrapped it in R19 with R34 on top and with a window AC unit I have zero heat/cold issues.

It's sold at Homedepot in sheets like 3/4 plywood.

TOO EASY!

Unfortunately (for me)
I have no idea what that is. (heading to the professor right after this port) "Google"
and there is no convinient DIY centers in this god forsaken country that I'm currently growing/residing in!
I wouldn't be surprised if this backwards ass country doesnt even sell r-xx & r-xxx wraps

Its plywood with heat reflective material on one side. And the r-19 r-34 is just bats of insulation of different depth.

When I have 105f outside, my ambient temps in the attic are 110. Normally it'd get to 135. So, with a radiant barrier on the roof AND the GR, with it wrapped in insulation, there's no heat in or out other then by way of a vortex 6 for fresh in and Dayton blower for exhaust.

Sup Dudes,

Attic SCROG is doing good!! The temps actually are ideal in the winter for my HiD wince it counters the cold night air. And i run the HiD during the colder hours so I dont have to worry about heating them. Thi si the first week the Trics came out on the the biggest plant. they started last week on the little one...

Today is exactly week 8 of flowering. But I'm lucky since I almost lost the plants so I'm not complaining about the long flower time...

good stuff. my attic grow is doin good too. i use the heat from my air cooled 600w to reheat the tent. and its in the lower teens at night. portable heaters go a long way.....yeahh an enclosed room wrapped in insulation and ir block sounds ideal and would cut out the need for a heater and probably an ac in the summer... but with what im workin with things are doin good...looks like yours is too keep it up

Hi everyone,

I finally started harvesting this baby. I started in early August 2010, just started harvesting in Feb 2011. With a strain which is supposed to have a 8 week flower period.

The harvest was copacetic. I mean so far i've gotten a dry 70Grams, with about another 70-8 drying and about another 30-40 sitting on the tree still. letting them "bud-up" for another week or so as long as the plants not in shock. I dougbt it!! she has been through worse!!
