Attitude B-day promo. got my order in. see my picks inside. what did u order????

I read on breed bay that the last run of Gogi's Bodhi made were exclusively for giving away as free-bes. So I doubt these are 2nd grade beans. I expect nothing but good vibes and DANK plants from the master Bodhi.

i used to have problems germing seeds using the paper towel method, have seen a few beans split and end up dying off because of being handled. now i just stick with soil, seedling heating mat and humidity dome and a bit of patience...so far 100% havent had a bean not make it yet.

I just stick them straight into jiffy pelets and then in some sort of sealed container and i think iv'e only ever had 1 bean not sprout

I have had very bad luck with freebies from Attitude. Not real interested in a bunch of random single seeds. SOS gives a 20% discount during promo time, has better prices, way better customer service, a minimum of 6 freebies per order and they actually germ. Has anyone else been using SOS?

i havent. i used herbies though. they had a pretty nice xmas promo. they have a similar style promo going on now but im not convinced to order by the choice of freebies this time. i did get a 5pack for free from them of some skunk #1 x sleestack that should be good (during their xmas promo).

ill have to try sea of seeds.

ive ordered from herbies before without issues but checking their prices recently, they are quite a bit more expensive than attitude or sos.

I use the paper towel method. But I also cover it with another plate and keep it in a warm area. Then I check it for moistness every 3 hours. Soak the towel before bed.

some people swear by it, i thought it worked well untill i started loosing beans that cost me 10+ bucks...

just too much handeling involved in my opinion.

Funny, the reason I do it is because I am paying 10 bucks a seed. I want to see those tails pop and as far as handling, I have never had a problem. I even roll them across a piece of sandpaper before dropping into the napkin and my germ rates are AMAZING.

If they were 50c a seed I would do like a farmer and drop 5 or so seeds into each hole.

Why do you roll them across sandpaper??

Why do you roll them across sandpaper??

it allows moisture to enter the seed easier, some seeds are verry water repelent and thats why they take so long to germinate.

as far as methods go there is no right or wrong, its all about what works for the individual. for me directly into soil works the best...for otherts paper towel works the best.

my germ method is a plate...with 2 sheets of paper towels folded perfectly (to appear as one) put the paper towels on the plate...put the seed on top...put another 2 sheets of the paper towels and put it on top. get a spray bottle and spray till theres enough moisture...then put it in a grocery bag and put it away.

ive gotten beans to crack as early as 24 hrs that way.

when i first started though i use to literally just put the bean in the dirt. i was surprised i pop'd like 20 in a row like that before i got my first dud. lol.

once i got my dud i switched to paper towels.

ive still had seeds not germ even using paper towels though.

yeah duds are inevitable. i have actually just recently started using rapid rooter plugs for germination and they seem to work well also. but i dont think ill be wasting too many more of them on seed starting..need to save them for cloning.

I got nothing cuz EVERY single strain I wanted was sold out. I even ended up settling on some OSD and AOS pick n mixs but those were gone by the time I was ready to check out.
