Attitude seed bank confiscated!

just had my seeds confiscated by customs. I hope I'm not going to hear anymore about it other than the letter. It says it was an agricultural offense but the small print on the bottom says I could be subject to civil penalties. It also says the material was destroyed. US seedbanks from now on for me!

I got 1 of 2 orders. What sucks was when you send an attached pic of the document it looks scrambled. I had to scan it pdf and send that file to attitude so they can't say they can't read it. I hope they resend and do a better job this time. And as always since not in original packaging I wonder if I'm really getting what I ordered.

Ya I know what you mean. I get the little baggies with a tiny piece of the original package. My package of Melonsicle had 7 seeds in it. It was buy 5 get 2 free seeds. You can easily tell which 2 seeds were free. They are twice the size of the other 5 tiny tiny seeds. I "assume" those were the free ones.

I can't really complain because I got over 20 free seeds with my small order. Not bad overall.............................until I grow them out in a few weeks and see for myself :eyesmoke:

I can't really say that if I don't know it but I understand your point of view. I've ordered from them since around 2008 or 2009. I usually get what I order and not one has ever been confiscated. I have noticed that the midwest and west people get screwed the most. I think it all depends on what facility it is sent to. Someone at a certain facility may be "in the know" and grabbing shit up. If you have a legal grow you may be able to fight this.

I'm not sure how they do the freebies tho. They either get extra packs from the breeders or they open them and pull a few out and place them in a "jar" for later usage as freebies. I can't really say.

I started back in 2013 for a while with attitude and had some confiscated. But generally get them. I only wonder about the seeds because I want a certain pheno of buddha sister and never got one with the traits I was looking for. But that may have been luck of the draw. I'd say they are overall good, but let's see how the reship goes. I bought the guaranteed delivery option.

Mine got snagged by customs with the same letter a few months back to arizona. Nothing comes of it. Resend to the same name and address and it still got through 2 weeks later.

This is exactly why I started Stateside. No customs, I get the pleasure of dealing with all that mess, and no waiting for weeks. Priority shipping and top notch service and freebies. You can look us up on Trustpilot.
I've used all of the UK seed banks I think. I'm not a fan of seeds not in the breeder packaging. I'm certain I didn't get what I bought a few times. The waiting is terrible, especially for Spanish seeds coming from the UK due to the changes in the laws with Brexit. It takes me a month or so to get orders in due to the delays from Spain.
But I agree with whoever says buy seeds in the US, no need to take it outside of the country. There's more options than ever for getting seeds stateside.

So many banks within your own country that would be a lot safer to deal with. Nothing against the Attitude, they've got a lot of good european strains that are harder to find around here. But there's so much local fire being bred and amazing offerings at dozens of legit US seed banks. No customs to worry about, and get your seeds in like 3 days... can't beat that.

I have received that letter from Los Angeles ISC, too. I emailed Attitude a picture of the letter, and they sent out the order, the next day. Took 3 tries to get that order. I placed a different order, while the missing order was being resent, and that arrived complete, in 9 days. Great customer service! I am ordering mostly from Neptune seeds, now.
