Attitudes strange delivery route.

So i placed an order recently from the attitude. Last time i placed an order from them the package was delivered to chicago since i live closer to the east coast. However this order, i checked the tracking and the package is all the way in san fransisco. For them to ship it there just seems really inneficient and odd. Any thoughts on why they might have done this?

It has nothing to do with Attitude's delivery route. It is the postal service. It probably went to a sorting facility in San Fran. I have had packages come to Canada, go to North Dakota and then back to Canada before being delivered to me. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Just seems strange and ineffecient regardless of who put it out there. But as long as it gets here i really dont mind. Just curious why theyd send to the other side of the country.

Definitely inefficient. That's the postal service for ya. UPS, Fed Ex, Purolator, USPS, CP.... they all suck equally hahaha.

I'd love to have that problem. My last order has been sitting in Chicago since Nov 8'th. Hell, they could re-route my package through Tahiti for all I care..... as long as it doesn't end up in Chicago.

Yea i feel you there. My last order got snagged in chicago. Luckly i had gaurenteed shipping and got a free re order.

Keep in mind that severe weather might have interfered with normal delivery protocols. Probably lucky for you.
Yea i hope so. Hopefully it doesnt go through any customs. My luck though theyll ship it from san fran to chicago. I sure hope not though

If they suck so bad, which ones can you do without? Since you're an expert at moving mail, what can you do better? Are you willing to take a letter across country for me for .$50? Or, are you just talking out your ass?

Lol any mail coming in the states go thru customs. Whether they look inside is a different story.

Sorry but i have to agree thats pretty dumb especially if the want to keep up margins, why would you send it to the opposite side of the U.S.?
I am sure there are plenty of processing centers on the eastern seaboard. I think its fairly logical to think its a dumb way to do things or are you just flaming him?

as far as i am aware of, there's only 4 or so sorting centers for international mail, ny, chi-town, l.a. and maybe san fran being the last..

Yeah he's trolling. I'm not even going to respond to him. Fuck ups are bound to happen when you are moving millions of packages. Unfortunately they happen very frequently haha. I used to be a UPS delivery driver. All I can say is don't hate the driver. 99% of the time it's not their fault it's just the whole delivery system. Sometimes those packages get lost into the void...... or in your case flown across the country and back before it gets to you.

Not trolling. Was a serious question. You said they suck, I want to know why and what you can do better. The reason some packages take odd routes and go across country and then back to you, is because the way the system is set up. It is not setup to be efficient with a single package, but bulk packages that are sorted at distribution hubs and then sent out. Therefore, your package can go from customs, right past you to a hub probably some where in the Midwest to be sorted then sent to you. So while something might seem stupid to us, our expertise is not in moving packages around the world.
But then again, it's just easier to say some one is trolling, then have to back up your opinions i suppose.

I said they all suck EQUALLY, meaning no one of them is any better than the other. They all make mistakes but they all get the job done. I NEVER said I can do better. I never said I was an expert at moving mail even though I am as I worked for UPS full time for close to 2 years moving over 100 stops a day.

There you got your troll snack, you happy?
