attn canada residents / people who crossed from us

Im getitng ready for my drive up to canada in a few hours.. I want to bring a small amout of weed with me (maybe 5 grams) incase i cant find it the second i get there.. i am wondering, will i have a problem crossing the border with it in my car? and if so, what are the penalties for bringing that amount from US to canada

any info would be appreciated thanks

im not sure where your crossing, they tend to be the most anal at the ontario crossings....... most other places, if they catch you, they will just throw it out... make sure to keep it on you in a pocket or something, because canada border patrol agents cannot search you physically, only your car and belongings!

If the americans catch you your fucked. Do what I do, Crotch it. I have taken the dankest of dank to Greece and all of europe and also on a couple of cruises. If you got the balls, Crotch it! But make sure to seal it properly, bag came undone on plane once, was funny shit my cousin from three rows up had to wake me up to re close bag. She smelt it and quickly alerted me, was funny though people couldn't tell what it was. I guess the Chron is not a familiar smell to alot of people.

Over the summer me, my wife and dog had trouble at the border in maine we were detained for about an hour entering canada. For some reason I had a bad feeling about 1 mile before the crossing I pulled over and stashed my herb on a tree stump next to the road. I am glad I did because they searched and questioned us hard. We were even taken to separate rooms and questioned. In the end they let us in to Canada. About a week before they busted some people in canada at a terrorist training camp or something so they were on alert or something. Almost all the people who were working at the crossing spoke only french which made things worse. Be careful. Btw my herb was waiting for me on stump when we got back.

I live 5 minutes from the border to Ontario. I have been crossing for many many years. What everyone else has said is pretty much true. In my travels back and forth, I got hasseled 80 to 90% of the time trying to re-enter the US, compared to entering Canada. They are much easier. I do know from that US customs will and can strip search you. They did it to me when I was young but I had nothing on me. The customs agent said that when you leave the US and try to get back in, at that point you have no rights as an American until you are allowed to pass. His words not mine. Good Luck

I wouldnt do that. they might look under the car with a mirror. How about putting it in your gas cap. Not in the tank obviously but beetween the cap and the flap outside.

maybe its under a quater ounce and its compressed wrapped in saran wrap... i might just bitch out last minute and toss it under a tree who knows maybe ill go through with i dont know hwy im bugging entering canada i should be buggin entering us.. im leaving in 10 mins to head up there.. i'll let everyone know what i winded up doing

Friend of mine told me how he carries it on the plane............. He rolls a couple of J's, wraps them in Saran Wrap and and then, right b4 going through checkpoint, he slips them between his lower lip and teeth. Any problems he can chew up and swallow the evidence.
Not very much smoke, but there's been times when I was traveling, I would have liked to have had any amount with me.

I crossed a few times this year around the niagara falls area. I may consider traveling into Canada but I would never attempt to re-enter the country with weed. The questions can be intense and if your nervous these folks will know.

Now re-entering the country is a whole different story. Dont even try it...

i was detained in ontario b4 over a pack of papers in my car, strip searched with a full cavity probe as well, was not fun, although i did get a crack at the customs agent that searched me, when i came out of the room, in front of the whole lobby i had told the agent "thank you, that was the best hand job i ever had" they acually thought it was perty funny........

i made it through no questions asked.. im not trying my luck crossing back, just smoking as much as i can before i cross putting some visine in and getting rid of the evidence thank god i made it through cause i still had no luck finding local weed and ive asked alot of people
