I have never had seeds seized by customs. I always send them to another address. If I ever got a customs letter I would consider that address compromised. Most of the time there is no link to me and the address the seeds are delivered to as well. These people were just growing a personal stash and made some stupid mistakes. It is sad too because the cops are going to smack them with distribution charges. I hope Indiana has friendly pot laws . . .
Damn i wish i get close to 10 grand off my crop, they just had 5 more than i do! How do they figure they would make so much money off their crop?? And there really dumb for letting the cops in to their basement. Should have told the cops to fuck off at the front door then immediately call a lawyer.

At 3k a pound you would need a little over three pounds at harvest. This is more of the cops spouting bullshit, there is no way this couple was pulling three pounds off a few plants for personal use.

I need some of that, must be 2lbs buds on each cola and they weren't even mature. I'm so tired of the exaggerated bullshit numbers they pull out of their asses. In reality they spent 50 to 100 thousand to bust some innocent tax paying toker with a half pound of potential weed worth a thousand, wow great job fellas.

yea..i live in indiana..the cops come to my home.because they were watching doc chronic;s operation..and everything he sent to chicago was getting caught..the cops showed up at my home with the dogs and everything..that is how they roll in indiana..if they catch your b eans coming in they will send the dog to your house and a pile of pigs...they didnt find any trhing but a couple of joints of swag..i dont shit where i eat..thank god...i spent the evening in jail though..and they confiscated my money..a pipe .grinder ect..and they stole a bunch of shit out of my garage they didnt even report..i hate fucking cops..by the way..they wont do shit to you for ordering the seeds on line..with your own credit card..they will go straight to your computor though and look for evidence..you will never see me post a picture on any site..sorry folks..i like my freedom...if i did not live in indiana all that would have happened is i would have gotten a letter from customs...indiana is the only state i know of that does this..thinking in retrospect..even though the pigs didnt get anything on me..that wont be thrown out of court ..i have a excellent lawyer...if you dont have one..get one and put him on retainerSeeds Lead To 19 Pot Plants

[FONT=GEORGIA, SERIF]LA PORTE - An online purchase of marijuana seeds from overseas caught the attention of federal authorities, leading to the discovery of an alleged growing operation in La Porte.
According to investigators, 19 plants were grown mostly to support the habit of David Bollinger, 57, and Sandra Manring, 49.
"They've been longtime users of marijuana," Indiana State Police Trooper Jason Sample alleged.
Sample, the lead investigator, said the seeds were ordered from Europe and delivered to Chicago's O'Hare Airport.
U.S. Customs and Immigration authorities detected something peculiar about the package and called Indiana authorities.
With the address from the package in hand, Sample responded to the home Monday night in the 1600 block of Stone Lake Drive.
He smelled an odor of fresh marijuana and was allowed to go in the basement where the plants, high-powered lights, fertilizer and other materials used in a hydroponic growing operation were discovered.
Due to their cooperation, the couple will be allowed to turn themselves in if a judge - after reviewing the evidence - orders them arrested, police said.
The couple allegedly told investigators they had been growing marijuana for at least four years, mostly for personal use.
Judging from their ledger books, though, Sample said some of the marijuana was sold.
At full maturity, all of the plants would have a street value of more than $10,000, police said.

...there is a place just up the street that rents mail box's..just rent a mail box and have your seeds sent to it..it costs more..but ill tell you ..it dont cost as much as having the pigs raid your house..i wonder how much the state spent on raiding my home? they had 8 cops..a dog...ect ect..unmarked SUV;s..brand new ones all over the place..there was only one marked car..and it had the dog in it..the cops here roll in large trucks with tinted windows..shit like 4 door 4 wheel drive trucks..all of them NEW....nothing to good for our guys..what a fucking waste...i hope i cost the shit out of the state raiding my home...it had to be several thousand dollars worth of tax payer money..over what?2 joints..LOL....oh..they have their suspicions...but no proof

There either watching the internet, or they the "DEA" have there own
fake seed bank.
Just like how they bust people for trying to buy drugs from a undercover cop.
I heard of the FBI making fake childporn sites to bust pervs.
same difference.
Plus they say over seas.
Would it be safer to only deal with Canadian Seed Banks?

Thanks bro I think it depends on local marijuana laws and the level of enforcement. In Colorado for example and Oz or under is a misdemeanor and just a fine. In Denver it is legal to carry an OZ . Officers have also been instructed that marijuana is a low enforcement priority. I'm sure California gets a floods of seeds as well.
So Indiana is full of anti-pot-natzis just means you need to get more involved with your local NORML chapter and get some of those laws reformed.

about 2 months or so...
matter of fact i joined RIU right after the raid ..i was scared to make posts on here till after the raid..the cops know they dont have anything here now..they might sick someone else on me..but i doubt it..i have already spoken with my lawyer on this..he said it will all be cleared up..the judge that ordered the warrent looks like a moron..in indiana he said the law states its about the same 30 grams and 10 lbs..so if you get caught for weed...it might as well be ten pounds..one of his clients my lawyer was telling me about was caught with 34000 in cash and two pounds...this is his second offence..he said he will have to pay a fine and serve six weeks in jail..its almost automatic if you are going to mess with anything over 30 grams..it might as well be ten pounds in indiana...my lawyer said...it is going to cost him a little in lawyer fee's..that he has already been paid..in CASH...but..he will only do six weeks...it pays to have a good lawyer..im telling you..a good lawyer on your side is worth his weight in GOLD..and always remember..shut up ..dont tell the cops anything..they have to prove EVERYTHING..make them do it...

when a package comes from overseas they go thru customs and one of the customs ports is Chicago so there is nothing fishy there.
If you lived in Florida and sent something to California would it not go thru a couple states before getting there ? Yes it would.
The person that got busted might be on this board or another I read, I'll have to check. It is a true story. The person I believe had a long police record is part of the story and Indiana Law is a little harsher than elsewhere.
I have heard when customs finds something they notify police in that area and see if they want to persue it or not.
I do get tired of seeing posts saying it's all bullshit and no one would get busted for this or that. The law is wierd and anything can happen. A rookie officer will pull you over for speeding 1 mph over the limit trying to make a name for himself so going to your house on a tip wouldn't be a stretch.
