hey man mine wer about 28days in when i had the buds that size she's looking sweet though....As for the flushing im trying to figure that out myself i have a buddy calling out tomorrow he's very experienced with growing he's had some very impressive grow both indoor and outdoor so any info i pick up....I will glady pass it on bro

cheers mate, your on 20/4 aren't you. Only on 18/6 so would explain it + only got about 300w of red in there but buds look bigger every day so not complaining. Got to be at least a half coming off her (maybe more) which for nothing cant be bad. Electric isn't even noticing, hardly gone up so its worth trying CFL's if your on a budget. For me it's about the heat not cost. Outside shed cant be to hot as helicopters are always going over ! your's look about 2-3 weeks ahead of mine so maybe mine are will take a bit longer. Said on pack 10 weeks but read somewhere they took 12 so fuck knows !!

small update. Buds are forming well.
About 3 weeks to go if 10 -11 weeks on pack is right. Any ideas ?

The Big Bud auto is so bushy, it's almost to big for the grow area. Nearly touching the light !! Some tinkering in the box needed.

The Snowrider isn't too far behind. Hoping they don't show sex until the Assasin is ready as not much room in there !!

Plants are looking good.....i bought 5 feminized assassin seeds and still got one male.....my other ones are strong and very bushy.....they will be 5 weeks old on thursday and should have about 4 weeks left after that....the pack said 8-9 weeks seed to finish.....im using a 400w HPS ballast and reflector and mylar wall lining......i started using alaska fish for veg and switched to nirvana for flowering and they love it....i also have 3 big bang plants...just turned 1 week old.....when they turn 7-8 weeks then u need to flush them for 2 weeks before harvest

Nice one, u doing a grow journal ? would like to see some pics. Post here if you want. Have you grown Assassins before, would like to know what to expect as never had it before. Think mine are a bit slow as using CFL's (about 300 w of red) and no heat during night (dont know if that makes a difference).
Mine are about 8 weeks I think but at least another 2 weeks or maybe 3. took some more photos today, some of the hairs are starting to turn red, only a few but just turning. Some nice crystals starting to form on the buds.
How long do you think until I need to flush.

thanks dam, what do you think, another week then flush ? the buds seem to grow every time I look at them lol but think a bit longer.

Had a look at your snowryders PakaloloHui, looking good. My SR showed sex yesterday, day 19 so will watch with interest. need to do some surgery on my box as it's just a bit too small, with 2 flowering plants, 1 near to flower and one baby. Got a AK auto and creme caramel waiting too ! cant wait to get this first one done then try a few different nutes. Not used any for the growing as used m-grow and was scared to over do it but they seem quite hardy once they get going so will invest in some for the next 2. Any advice on nutes would be appreciated

Using Hesi bloom for flowering.

I use organics and make an ammended soil and add tea's, so gotta look through my thread to get the details on that, it's been posted already.

If you are loooking into a nute line, watch what (215medicineman) on you tube does and produces with his set-up, using Foxfarm.

Once you get going you will never have to say that you are going to go smoke some shitty street weed, it will be your fruit of labor.

Fed up buying shit from the kids who claim to have the best stuff and all it is is shit Chinese sprayed weed. Being self sufficient will sort me right out. Not selling any of it, probably sort out a friend who has MS but thats it. Wana learn the tricks of the trade but I know there will be many ups and downs. Wish our country would follow the US and let us self medicate but they are to scared of the anti drug brigade !
Oh well at least you can get away with small grows if your careful.

You want to watch the trichomes, not the pistils (hairs).......when you have at least 50% of your trichomes turning milky white then you are ready to harvest......you should have a 20-30x magnifier....i have a mini microscope so i can examine the trichomes. Since your hairs are already turning then i would start flushing now because you may only have 2 weeks left until they are ready to be dried. NO more fertilizer. I havent grown assaasin before but its pretty basic like most other autos. Mine are beautiful and very wide and bushy with tons of bud sites. Definitely get yourself a high powered magnifier....get one at radioshack for $10-$12

your girls look like they are growing well. So you've grown Assassins before, whats the smoke like ?
My Assassin probably has 8 to 10 branches each with a good size bud at the end and loads of smaller buds going down the branch. Main stem has loads of buds and the main top bud looks like it's gona be a good q or more.

Started the flush as need to be finished soon as snowrider is flowering and big bud is almost showing sex. runnin out of room !!

well to be honest i would expect a lot more bud production for 8 weeks old......mine are kinda similar to yours except that my pistils are still white cuz they're only 5 weeks old....they'll be 6 weeks old on thursday.....i really would suggest that you upgrade to an HPS light and ballast......using cfl's are ok but they cost you a big yield........u can check out ebay or go to a website like HTG supply and get a 400watt HPS grow light kit......400watt are best for small closet grows cuz they cover up to a 4x4 space.......and line your walls with mylar......i havent grown assassin before but i know what to expect from the strain based on research and talking to other growers.......i think you should stick with 5 plants or less at a time and use 3 gallon pots with a 400watt HPS grow light and then your yield will be much much better.......make sure you hang dry the plant for at least a week and then put them in canning jars for as long as you want to perfect the taste and smell.....what kind of fertilizer and soil did you use?

HPS is better I know but too much heat and cost for me. Box is maylar lined too. TBH yeald isn't what I'm after, sure I'd like 5 oz but I'm realistic being my first proper CFL grow and know the most I'd get is a oz, probably less. But from a £3 seed to a oz of good quality weed I ain't complaining. Learn as I go, know most of the theory but its the little tips etc that all help.
Didn't use nutes for the veg as they were planted in m-grow and didn't want to over feed, during flowering I've been using Hesi something that my mate gave me. Next grow I will try fox farm stuff probably.

yes fox farm and advanced nutrients are very good brands........i like nirvana.....you can use it at any stage of growth.........i grow for maximum yields though.....so i want to get the best stuff for the plants.....im going to be growing 4 different strains next time and one of them produces 70 grams per plant so im eager to see how that goes

what the biggest you've had from a auto ? pack says 15 to 40 on the assassin so not a huge yield. I can already tell the main bud will be at least 10 (guessing and hoping!) and some of the side buds are decent size. I guessing at 20 to 30 which I wont complain about but to be honest half will do me ! I think the snowrider will be more. Buds are forming well and its only been a week in flower, much bigger than the assassin but I have got more light in there now, well more than the assassin started with. The big bud ids still vegging and is very bushy so hopeful of some decent smoke over the next few months. Got a creme caramel waiting to be germ'd too

What nirvana nutes you using? whats the best soil for these baby's ?

well as far as autos go you can get as little as a quarter oz or as much as 2-3 oz per plant.....i would say the standard is up to 1 oz per plant....that is a good yield......assassin should produce 18-30 grams.........i use just straight nirvana from advanced nutrients....you can get a liter of it for $25.......i like fox farms ocean forest potting soil....it has a lot of nutrients that help the plants get started......it sells for about $10 for 1.5 cubic ft......that should fill about 11 gallon pots.....i use 3 gallon pots.....i dont recommend using anything smaller because it will limit the root system and stunt the plant growth.....i never do transplants either.....i start them out in the 3 gallon pots.......here are some new pics of the girls.....the assassin are flowering nicely and have many bud sites forming......the 3 big bang babies are doing well...they turned 2 weeks old today

wow that would be nice.......i dont have a set up for such tall plants though.....i only grow small to small/ medium plants so usually no bigger than 3 ft tall.......im happy with an oz per plant at that height......the next plant im growing is about 2 ft tall and produces up to 70 grams a plant
