Auto Drip System for Coco

Started with larger 4x4' plants in 10 and 15 gallon fabric pots with just coco fed by Blumat drippers (no timed pump): The Blumats work if adjusted regularly and pots hand watered a fair bit after transplants and then a soaking every couple weeks thereafter.

I was leaning toward a pump and the flora-flex caps or matrix drippers on 5 gallon fabric pots with just coco for the future. I wanted smaller pots and better drip distribution than I am getting with the Blumats. Going from the Blumats auto sensing to a timer and wifi moisture sensor should not be too much trouble. I read the floraflex distributors create an environment that breeds thrips however.

I also got on a thread elsewhere and read about the Grodan 6" cubes and how easy it is to hook a dripper to those, also saw auto pots, Grodan slabs, and the 8" cube Floraflex pots you put coco into, 6" cubes set on top of a coco pot... And now I'm confused about what to do and am wondering what else is out there that I've missed might be best in a auto drip/irrigation setup - for single plants with about a 4x4' canopy or a bit smaller?

Edit: Have drain to waste/outdoor-gardening.

No experience with drip.
I prefer the hydro halo dealios for fabrics 3gal and larger for more of a slow flood feed. Timed 15-30 seconds per feeding.

Smaller I use the square floraflex.

1 and 2 gallon are my goto.

I saw those, I shied away because of their price but if they work, they work and I will probably go that direction. I was also worried the little holes would clog up and be an issue more than the floraflex caps that run on tubing without restricted drippers.

Cost savings possible.
Many DIY the halos using 1/2 tubing with holes.

No clogging issues using gh, megacrop, jacks. I multi feed feed around 1.6ec max. 800ppm

I was afraid to ask about DIY, I'm about as DIY as it gets (from the lights to the drains) already and was hoping to avoid going down that road again. That floraflex stuff is reasonably priced! but... Since the DIY is going to save a fair amount of money and replicate the best option I'll be hard pressed not to do it. It would be simple too seems like.

It's also not hard to make your own rings.

That looks like the future right there. Already looking at pumps, but it probably does not take much more than the $20 amazon pumps I already use, especially if I limit the number of halos.

I have a set of the blumat distribution things but have not tried them yet.

Edit, oh that one's a blumat ring, that took me a second to figure that out! I might have to try that out too!
