hey man im along for the ride as well. i have to say i'm very impressed with the t5's. contemplated purchasing a set awhile back and now i'm dissapointed i did not..
anyways, just got easy ryder beans sprouting in some rockwool now and im following along with you to see what i can be expecting as well. info on your feed schedule is helpfull as hell cause im on different boards hearing various info but not seeing pics. the pics are proof positive bro so keep up the good work. !
theyre branchy bushy girls huh? good photos man. and good advice " don't tend your garden angry."
good luck and yeah this is my 2nd autoflower grow, a newbie still in this arena..... "quicksilver autos suck, dont waste your monies on them". easy ryders seem to get great reviews!
Thanks man, yeah i love those t5's they are the shit i plan on expanding on the t5 platform for my next grow ill be running 12 of them for 20 plants. I would be happy to help with your grow any way i can possibly help my friend, I have to say you picked a great AF strain to go with, its a very hardy strain great for testing and things like that as far as autoflowers go anyway.. as far as my nute sched. i wouldnt say to follow my plan haha.. im testing organic nutes.. this is my first ever personal grow but i have been involved in several other grows this time also being my first with organic nutes i am testing them to hold up to all the claims i read about them such as nute burn resistance as well as a claim about constand feeding leading to larger yield. basically my plan so far has been..
Germinate paper towel method and placed directly into the soil ( I would suggest that you plant them in the pots you plan to finish them in and not rockwool like you have done just because these plants DO NOT like to be transplanted.. i know this first hand. You have done this already it isnt THAT BAD of a thing i mean they will do just fine dont even worry about it just i suggest not transplanting anymore for the rest of your grow besides when you transplant the rockwool to its final resting place.
If you are doing a soil grow and i assume you are i HIGHLY suggest foxfarm ocean forest.. its has worked wonders in every grow i have seen its simply a great soil medium. now what i did as far as feed goes is simply after i planted them i did a heavy watering (ph balanced.. i suggest 6.3 as the balance all the time no matter what, thats just me.) then i would do a simple watering just like this about every 3 days (whenever pots dry out my pots get light at about day 3 after a watering) i did this untill week number two about day 8 or so this is where the testing came into play i starting feeding ferts at day 8... i started with just grow formula about 1/2 stength... so basically grab a tbs fill it half way with grow fert and i put it into a gallon of water...
I only fed with GROW formula the next two waterings after the first GROW watering, Week 3 i started adding at 1/2 strength grow and microblast formula i did that untill about day 28 and then i started feeding MICROBLAST, GROW, and finally BLOOM formula all at full strength this time and i have been doing that ever since.. I always balance my water to about 6.3 though... take note of that its the range that allows the most nutes to be absorbed by the plant in a soil medium. so basically besides week 1 i have been feeding with EVERY single watering some would HIGHLY object to this method especially to the continued use of the GROW formula in my watering even after the plant has started flowering.. i do this to keep the nitrogen rate high in the plant.. i could go on and on for reasons why but according to a TON! of research i did leading up to this grow the nitrogen will in the end keep my plant on the optimal track of high yeild for this plant.. as well as prevent yellowing in older leaves towards the end (though yellowing is natural and common toward the end of the grow) like i said this feed sched. is a test run for a forumla i plan to create for my next grow and i would follow my plan at your own risk haha.
once again thanks for coming along with my grow start up your journal and ill be sure to keep in touch with you through your grow.
