I think........that the autoxtreme is about a month old, the other two are around 10 days behind.....or something

They are on 12/12 because they are with other light dependant strains (Durban poison, critical and kabrales) SO I won't be able to tell if they carry the auto trait.....so it gonna be a gamble but I don't care, im sure some of the hundreds of potential seeds will be auto's.

One the left is the autoxtreme (the tallest branch on the right I have left unsprayed) the centre pic shows the twisted leaves due to the colloidal silver treatment to the nodes and branches, and the right hand pic show the Pakistan ryder and supersonic crystal storm in the same pot (not enough room for all my plants). Im just focusing on seed harvesting with these autos so size is not an issue. Ive been spraying the autoxtreme with Tiresias Mist for about a week now. I started spraying al branches but one, and so now my bottle is almost finished :-/ so im focusing on spraying just one branch now before I run out :-( I had to oreder this from the USA so I wish I had brought 2 bottles now. If I don't see any pollen sacks soon im gonna be pissed lol I'll update about once a week or so or when I see sacks

Proposed crosses

Autoxtreme (dutchpassion/dinafem = OutLaw® (Amnesia x Super Haze) X ruderalis) Crossed with Pakistan ryder (WOS = Pakistan landrace X ruderalis)

and

Autoxtreme crossed with supersonic crystal storm (samsara seeds = lowryder X black domina)

and

Autoxtreme X Autoxtreme (self pollinated)

Hi Dameon :-) yeah the twisting and wrinkling is because of the CS spray, it makes the plants really sick for some reason. I thought it was just me to start with, but apparently it happens to everyone.....you should have seen her after the first two days spraying lol she looked like she was gonna die! But she looks a lot better now.......hopefully that doesn't mean my CS spray is not working.........coz I've been leaving it in the shade, but apparently is supposed to be stored in complete darkness because the silver ion suspension is degraded by light....so I got my fingers crossed I haven't F'd up :-O

you have to stress the plant in some way to force herm i've used thrive alive b1 red a couple times found that out on accident lol foliar feed was to strong burned it very badly
if it thinks its gonna die it pops balls could leave it in the dark for a week that would probably work also good luck

yeah I've heard stress can work, interrupting light cycle, leaving to flower past harvest etc. If the CS spray does not work I will deff start to stress her out but for now Im just gonna see how she grows with the CS treatment. There are also simple guides for making your own CS solution, you need a 9v battery, a couple wires, some 99.99% pure silver and purified water. There other techniques too to make similar metal ion solutions that do the same trick :-) to be honest I only tried the CS method because that's the only tech I've witnessed for fem seed production, plus time constraints, I just wanna make sure they turn. Im not sure how easily some plants turn hermy due to stress (or how long it takes them) but i'd love to know :leaf:

also trimming fan leaves about 10 at a time i found that works well >.< was a photo grower then fell in love with auto's and switched over blindly

i bet its hermed just hasnt recovered yet the zig zag branch shows its in or about to be in flower and you shouldnt have to worry about the auto trait most breeders have stabilized that part very nicely the way im setup i always have one flowering rouglhy 2-3 weeks apart after my next 2 bud i will have 3 budding same time and setup a scrog and pick one strain and grow 6 i think

I think I noticed the first signs of male flowers but I'll have to wait a few days cos it could just be a trick of the eye or something. If they are male flowers starting popping out of the buds, then they are also growin in the buds of the unsprayed branch. Could just be a 'pre, pre, flower' lol and im just clutching at straws lookin for pollen sax

sprayed or not if your using cs and not gebberilic acid or how ever you spell it the whole plant should herm or atleast most of it i think its only the geb acid that does a single branch never used the stuff just cs and burned them

Definitely pollen sacks popping up everywhere. Think Im gonna have to remove her from the grow room soon :-/ I don't think it was necessary to wait 10 days for the other two autos to germinate though, these pollen sacks are gonna be ready in a few days I reckon, but the SCS and PR are only just showing preflowers :leaf:

wherd did you get yo spray bro i tried sum orderd on line did not work but
instructions i had did not say anything on darkness next time i try ill try that
i found it better to either cut tops and put in a cup or bend male over on a 90
an just let pollen fall onto a piece of glass or a mirrir scrape up wit razor blade
shake through a sifter strainer and store away

i have about 4 or 5 diff pollens i justy dusted a peyote purple (bubba kush sister) with bubba kush pol
it is my oldes wanna see if still good

i would luve to have sum of the auto dust

got it from 'the hydro source' but now I understand how it works and what to look for, I think I'll make my own next time. On 12/12 they normally show preflowers about 16-25 days or so, just like an auto each strain is slightly different. Hmmm, I think I may just take some tops off and put in cups, and then collect on a mirror, also :leaf:

I was having trouble finding pollen in the hermie flowers so I thought I had failed. BUT I followed some other guys tec for gettin pollen from apparantly sterile hermies: I got a small plastic box and lined it with foil, then I picked some of the male flowers out of the female buds, but onlly the ones that were starting to crack open. Then once they were all in the foil, i got a clean razor blade and opened each one up, and what do you know, about 8 of the 30 or so I collected had a very small amount of pollen hanging around inside (u might have to fiddle with the bananas a bit) and use a cotton bud (AKA q-tip) to transfer any pollen u can salvage directly onto the recipient female flowers. Took about an hour, and I have no idea if it will work yet, but I did it thoroughly so I have my fingers crossed :leaf:

Will post pics tomorrow, hopefully plenty of seeds to come in around a months time!

See above post for description

pollen collecting.jpgfoil cup1.jpgfoil cup2.jpgbaby makers.jpg - the pakistan ryders lookin slightly light green, may be an N def so will keep an eye on here mayb up nutes next feed

n.b. when opening the male sacs, make sure you hands are not wet or sweaty, or u should wear gloves. And always be careful so open them and transfer them always above a clean foil surface incase they drop (you really don't wanna miss any, just incase u have only one viable sac)
