i definitely see the difference between cfls and mh now,
will be saving myself some cash next time and using cfls as well

As for the other thread.... uhm... welll hard to say really,
i just believe that kulong was tired. (The cage dose that to some people )
sucks but the cage must GO on!

The last cage was a bit of a mess, and to be fair, I don't think all the name calling and petty arguments helped. Nothing on Kulong at all, but there were so many people reported which drew a lot of unwanted attention to the thread and I think a lot of the people he considered on the "bandwagon" were just pushing his buttons, but again it's hard to say. I felt there was a general sense of negativity at times. I feel like that thread was just begging to get closed...

No one is banned from Round Two and it will not be run in a draconian fashion. So yes, SOA join us for round two, hopefully everyone else that was "banned" sees this and joins the next round, and hopefully Kulong joins as well, this spawned from his idea after all.. although starting this thread made at least one person angry, and I hope there isn't any bad feelings.

Now there was some good advice at the tail-end of the last thread, I think it went something like, let's "get on with it" XD so here's my update:

It's not really much of a camera and I'm sure not meant to be. Nothing to be done about depth of field and such. "25X to 200X with manual focus" Not entirely correct to my way of thinking. The zoom is dictated by the focal distance (and vise-versa). The self contained adjustable brightness on the LEDs is a nice feature though. Considering it's not a $3K piece,, I am very pleased with it. really going to be nice on the trichs later.

Here are some updated pics of Mable.



Hopefully that yellowing of the leaves is just the plant starting to wind down. Today is day 36 so she has about 24 days left I guess. I gave her a round of 1/3 strength flowering nutes about a week ago. That may have something to do with the leaves as well. I decided though that I'm not going to feed again before harvest.

Mable is looking pretty darn good!
Interesting on the nute thing.
I'm still full strength on the veg along with double the recommented on flower nutes.
It's taking it like crazy too. 1 1/2 gal pot going through pretty much a quart+ of water /nutes per day! It's far from wet.
I'm betting it's a strain thing though. This gal has been thirsty from the start too.
