Auto flower/fem seeds?

I've been growing from feminizied seeds for couple years now and I usually get between 1lbs-1.3lbs dried per harvest with 4 plants.
I was thinking about giving auto flower a shot.
Couple questions,
1) how many pots in a 5'×5' tent?
2) how big should tne pots be for max yield?
3) what kind of yield should i expect with the sa.e love and care?
4)should I even consider it?

If what you're doing is working why change lanes?
Autos are fun... But they can be annoying and genetics usually vary unless you're running a fairly stable strain which ime I've never really come across with an auto (mephisto being the closest with a couple deeply worked strains)
Personally I wouldn't waste my time doing a full tent of autos.
Dont get me wrong.... I love autos. I grow them on the reg. Just in diff scenarios. Great for an early outdoor finish, or a couple popping around in a veg or mom space, but a full auto tent? Meh. Nah
Even though you don't need to run such high intensity on your lights they're still running longer, everyday into peak rate so it totally negates any savings in dimming, plus heat buildup in day hours, more strain on your gear etc etc etc.... just such a hassle that's so easily avoided by running photos.
Plus, autos can be cunty and if you aren't exp growing them, I wouldnt say expect to fail or anything more like expect to have a difficult time....
To each their own though, that's just my personal view on the matter. I hate running my lights for 18 or 20 hrs a day costs a bum load running at peak rate.

Well, I got lazy and left the tent empy for some time, enjoying the fruit of my labour.
Bag is almost done and I was hoping to re-up quick, back to regular scrog after.

Misconception; autos are faster than photos.
I could root a clone and flip it whilst starting an auto seed and finish the clone ages before the auto.

If you are pressed for time why not do a SOG grow?

When i grow is 4 months from seed i was under the impression that autos were 8-10 weeks. Is this not true?

All depends on what cultivar... 60 day wonder is pretty much 60 days from seed to harvest. Quite a few quick ones out there, just gotta do research. I run autos and 75-90 is about the norm. You'll get 100+ out of auto sativa's but will yield pretty good. Mephisto, gnome, night owl, and brother Mendel are great genetics to try out for stable genetics but a few others are getting it right as well... Twenty20 Mendocino comes to mind...

No not true.

So it's I've yielded up to 20oz off an auto and I know lots of others have done the same, I actually yielded more with autos than I do with photos.

Depending on the breeder I'd expect around the same maybe more if you head towards some massive yielders.
