Auto flowering strains for mothers?

i placed an order with attitude seeds. 5 fem blue mystic 1 fem super cali haze 1 fem blue himalayan diesel 1 fem onyx 1 fem la blanca. my question is would auotflowering fem strains (all except blue mystic) be cool for mother plants?

you cant have a auto for a "mother" the clones will be the same age as the "mother".. you need a strain that is not a auto to keep it in the veg state.. the autos will flower regardless of the light cycle.

Im no expert but from what im told autos arent good for cloning cause they would still be the same age when u re root them but im still no expert

Yeah as soon as the plant is mature it buds which is three weeks. Even if you use it to clone it will most likely just kill it.

that really sucks. so is there even a reson to switch the light cycle on auotflowering strains? and how is the potency with these strains.

No there is reason to change the light cycle... if you change to 12/12 it will actually lower your yield.. and the potency is slightly lower than the regular strains but still good.
