Auto Grow 250W MH/HPS

Awesome haul, Big! Have you sampled the Roadrunner yet? You're gonna love the Easyryder. Looking at yours makes me wish I held off the harvest for another week.

I'm working on putting together a small 1 plant closet grow. I'll put up a journal when I'm ready to sprout. I'm going with the Super Lemon Haze.

Hey man, yep finally harvested. Can't believe the yields...I love this 250..I could maybe see getting a 400 in the future but this is def working well for me now.

Link me up with your next grow when u get going. Awesome choice of strain, very excited to check it out!

I'm gonna post the yeild of the easy ryder on this thread as well as the smoke reports for both, then I will prob put the "Afghan" in it's own thread..I'll post the link here when I'm done with this thread...

You ended up with 36grams off of one plant with the 250w:clap::clap:Good Job. when I finish with mine I will hopefully get enough to get this 250Wconversion bulb and hood set for 200.

Here is a pic of my Afghan Kush Ryder at day44. Not really a lloker at all and has been going through problems as with the rest of my girls, but as you can see it is growing and budding up more importantly.

Thanks man... The only thing I can suggest with the autos is to take it easy with them.. Knowing what I know now,I'm going to only prob feed them a lil bit once a week when I do my next batch. Good luck with your plants..looking good so far, will be nice to see the real Afghan!

Sweet man, good to see you again. I wouldn't dare put a 400 in that small tent...lol, but maybe in the future I would like to get one for a bigger area. I love my 250 tho, might wind up getting a cool tube for it and a strong can fan if I plan on growing during the warmer months.. I know it was too hot even in sept. when I started.

It's cool you're gonna start back up growing..link me up when you get the journal goin if you haven't got one already..

So....I think that my big beast plant is after all a female..I see some hairs coming out the tops, so that's a good sign. I admit I had my doubts...Who really knows what I got. I'll get some pics up tomorrow..

I did actually a few days ago emailed WoS and told them about this plant. I asked if they had a replacement policy and what actually did they send me if they know. They replied back and said they certainly would replace it if I send my bill along with my info. No word on what they sent me tho. I emailed the invoice from the tude and haven't got any word back yet. If I don't get an email tomorrow I'll give them a shout to see what the verdict is..

So here's the other auto. Citrusy smell when harvested, but now more of a spicy dank smell now that it's dry. Have some nice nugs and is pretty dense. No rock hard nugs or anything, but denser than what I'm used to growing.

Weight...the top cola was 7.4gs

TOTAl 30.4gs..

Not bad for being such a small plant. Knowing I had these 3 plants only under the 250 I couldn't ask for more..All that's left is the "Afghan" now.

So since I gave the "Afghan" the whole tent to do her thing, I decided to stretch her out a bit so she gets more light penetration. Just used some gal. steel wire and bent down some of the branches to make the canopy wider. I put a new thread up about how I should train her? and wanted to do a scrog but how do you keep the top from just growing up? I dont know how everything would level out if the top just kept growing up. Maybe I'm missing the concept, but I did read about it. I'm thinking I prob should have been doing this already when she was in veg. Oh well, guess well see what she does...

Any opinions on what I should, can do, would be great as I'm really not sure...

Hey Big Raw, I'm growing easy Rider in a closet under a 250W bulb and some fluoros... how old were your Easy Riders when you put them into flowering? These are 14 days old.

You don't put them into floweing..they are an autoflowering strain. They will start flowering on their own with whatever you have the light schedule set at now. Mine started going around day 25 or so.

What's your lights set at?

Nice nuggets of Easyryder, Big. You've got quite the stash now.

I haven't tried LST yet, but from what I've seen you usually start training when they are still seedlings, maybe around 3 - 4 weeks. It looks like you're doing about all you can to train the tops down at this stage. You should be able to tell which branches/shoots can be bent (and how far) without breaking them. If your only motivation is to allow light penetration, as opposed to space concerns, you should be good. Or, you could throw in some CFL's around the sides or the bottom to supplement your lighting.

When I get my little indoor grow started I will only veg for 1 or 2 weeks, then start 12/12. It won't be an auto, so I'll have to start tying her down early on because of space issues. I've followed many journals, and it looks fairly simple.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get her the best light all around for now...I'm def concerned about the height tho. Don't really know what to do for that. Might have to pull the top over to the side and configure the branches around it. I don't know..

Let me know when you got your other grow up and rolling..

They're at 18/6... I thought the Lowryders were the auto flowering...? Any plant that has "Rider" in it's name is auto flowering? Sorry to sound ignorant. They are 21 days old from the time I put them in cups. Here's a couple pics:

The Easy Ryder is a cross between a Lowryder and an AK47, therefore resulting in a autoflowering strain. I had my light on 18/6 also.
