Auto not flowering!

I have two VIP Dwarfs, started on March 13th. One is short and has beautiful little buds on it. The other is twice the height of the other and hasn't done anything. It just keeps growing! I normally run 18-6 on lights. The last four days I took the plant out and let it run 12 -12. Nothing has happened. Any suggestions??

leave it on 12-12 for another week and you should start to see signs of tiny little white pistols growing

If you know you have Auto seeds from a reputable seedbank..put them back on a MINIMUM of 18 hrs of light; preferably 20 hrs..

Autos can typically take anywhere 3-6 weeks before they begin to flower..mucking with the light suggests you're not confident that your seeds are autoflowers.

Turned the light hours back..is like opening the stove every 5 minutes when you try to bake something..counter-productive
And will compromise your buds

Thanks for the input. The seed bank is very reputable. This is my third batch of autos I've bought from them. I changed the light cycle for the one plant hoping for something, anything. I will go to 20hrs and see what happens.

Last time when I had that problem it took nearly 3 weeks from flipping to 12/12 to start flowering..

If its a true Autoflower...(Light hours are not the trigger!)..All you've done by reducing light hours is stunt the plant you're trying to grow buds on by reducing its light!

Why are growers trying to grow Autoflowers...only to second guess when they think they're suppose to flower?

Autos will typically begin to flower between 3-6 weeks of growth...Until you have experience with your particular strain...just let the plant grow and above all else...BE PATIENT!

People seem to think the buds will be poppin' out like popcorn....

All people know is to think they can "force" them to be on their time. If people read they would see you can stop veg nutes and start a tad bit higher than normal bloom/flower nutes to help her start to flower rather than reduce much needed light.

True what MattyMatt says! Typically, autos show sex at 17-25 days. Larger or super autos it takes longer. Good luck!

Dude I'm autoflower only guy.. I recive that as test seeds, from breeder, and it was fault genetics.. And if it dont go flowering aftwer 4,5 weeks of veg then isnt real autoflower or is shitty genetics.. I sh*t on your 5-6 vegging autos.. It loses whole point of growing autoflowers.
Any autos that goes beyond 100 days is C R A P in my book..

P.:S: second girl from that batch was given to my friend, after 3 months of veg. still no flowerring,. he put her also on 12/12 regime..
After almost 3 weeks they showed preflower

If you have to throw plants on to 12-12 to flower you're not growing Autoflowers! Your simply mucking about to test for photos...
You're repeating what Ive already stated...time 4-6 to trigger autos.

Heck, you even said 5 weeks veg which the grower didn't even hit before you suggesting going to 12-12??

You also fail on the importance of Autos for many people...100 days to finish would be fine by me..for a sativa skewed SuperAuto..

say I have two photoperiod seeds of and in bred line...almost identical genetics...

- I start one seed indoors a month early to get a jump on the growing season...When its safe to transplant outside, I transplant the month old plant...I then plant the second seed right beside it...say this is May 20..both plants grow side by side...THE PROBLEM...In spite of one plant being older and larger than the other...They will both trigger at the exact same time due to the reduced sunshine...Here in central Canada, that can be mid-late August...which wont give them time to finish...

With an Autoflower, I can grow it like a tomato....I comes down to chronological time...I can start it early indoors and it will finish outside correctly!

I don't remember any autoflower that I grew and took it more than 35 days to start flowering..
pyramid seeds,
mephisto,
dinafem,
seedsstockers,
world of seeds
Humbolt,
fem seeds,
short stuff seed..

None of them took longer than that..
99% of breeders that I grow have their gear in flower by 18-25 day from seed..
Only two that I needed to force was nirvana swiss cheese, and that originals seeds something crap..

I dont have a shitty attitude ,I just have zero tolerance on shi**ing on me.. Like I have finish every harvest in past 5 years by luck,and I don't have a clue what I'm talking about.

The problem I have...You're imprinting what you think an Autoflower should be on others. Second, you claim to be a seasoned autogrower...and you really cut your light hours to 12-12 if you dont like when they start?
You also admit some begin flowering at 5 weeks yet suggest someone impatiently cut the lights at 4'weeks.

I simply corrected your assumptions and you fly off the handle like it was some personal attack.

You're obviously an indoor grower, or live in an area with a long growing season as you don't realize the real benefit of Autos for grower in Northern climates...

How long are you flowering your Autos? Anyone who has an experience with Autos and development of resin knows you will still need a good 8-9 weeks flowering at a minimum before your trichomes will start to become amber on a decent strain. Add that to your veg phase

I'm a auto guy and photo guy have a 12 hr tent set up along with a 20 hr room its great. I've found that they mature on average and all other things... Its 65 to 100 days from seed. Mephisto can be done around 70. Lowryders even sooner but a lot of the bigger autos will go further. I've had nirvana seeds not auto the ak48 didn't flower that's the only I've had

Yeah, I love the Mephisto gear..
I also like the Dinafem, Fastbuds and an Expert Seeds version of GG4...

I prefer to grab Autos with a longer finish so that I'm harvesting more than 50g/plant from the equivalent of a stunted snowman.

Mephisto is great yes. I've got a bunch from 420guyseeds and they are great. Masive plants great germ rate near 100%. Also like a longer plant I have the room to start a auto every 3 weeks so they fill voids great happy growing

Mephisto also seems dry everywhere. Are they ok

KTM..not where you are at Countrywise, but I was on a Canadian Autoflower website..and there is a guy in Ontario I believe that managed to source a bunch of Mephisto's DoubleGrape which is pretty solid for anyone who knows Mephisto...

That site seems shady as fk to me. I'm guessing they are selling their own S1/F1 seeds of DoubleGrape. I would be ok with that if they priced appropriately and stated that. Mephisto has it's own Canadian site that's been out of DG for ever. Doesn't add up to me.

CA store to get Double Grape in May. Current freebies CA has are Sour Stomper x Double Grape, and SS is a parent anyways so might just make it even better that the DG themselves.
