AUTO or not too AUTO

I have this autoflower (strain unknown) but I purchased 10 seeds online stating they were autoflowers. So this particular seeds broke ground on September 28/14. I have had it under LED's in my flowering tent since. It was on 18/6 but I had regulars I needed to flip to 12/12 and she was a slow go in terms of flowering.
First photo is just before I flipped; the next are as of tonight 3 weeks later. Seems this girl is enjoying 12/12. Looks to be like she's got more genetics of a photo period strain than auto. Any thoughts on this?

No comments ?? Just keep her under 12/12 and see how she turns out? I have two more autos under t5s. Younger than this one but no sign of flowering for either.

since you had the photos in the tent you could keep it a little more in 18/6..or had u already put em in 12/12 and just threw that in too?anyway...my opinion is to keep it in 18/6 till you see preflowers.after that its all 12/12 mode.now since you already have done that,as u said keep it in flower and see how she turns...lookin good :) for the other 2 autos do as said, keep it in 18/6 in t5's till preflowers..after that throw them in the flower tent too!happy growin bongsmilie

aaah and just saw that photo genetic thing u say..im no expert but i think autos are called like this because they will flower in a scheduled time, whatever happens.25 days to a month i think..so if you begin an auto 12/12,it will stil veg for some days...but with less amount of light,so it'll be smaller---->less yield.thats just my dumb opinion,if someone knows better pls correct me!

All plants, even the auto, were on 18/6.... there were preflowers on the auto and I was needing to flip my photos to12/12 so I did. And the auto took off as far as flower is concerned. It's been over 3 weeks now and things are going well. I just figured the autos would be able to stay in my veg area until finish. That room is simply underT5"s and flouros. I am switching out to LED in there as well. I have two more autos in the veg area... no sign of flowering and it's been 2 months.

I'm growing Short Ryder currently and for an auto that I grew the first time in 55 days from seed is taking 9 weeks plus to finish flowering. Lights are 24 7 but had to switch to 12/12 to get plants to flower, then switched back to 24/7.

I am thinking of putting this one back on 18/6 once I change my lights in that room. I just put another one in 12/12 to get it moving. The one in flower is fattening up.

Yes absolutely...could be bad genetics. I got the seeds for $15 for a mixed bag of 10. Just to try them out before I bought more. I have now purchased 5 Northern Lights from Crop Kings so I should be able to find out what to exepct.

No Vancouver Seed Bank and they have an indoor mix (photos) 10 seeds for $25... outdoor mix 10 sees for $25.00 I bought the indoor mix last year and they were totally worth the money and the experience of growing from seed. I have cloned from the ones I liked to keep them going.
