auto yield outside?

i have read a lot on here about autos, it seems that the autos do better inside because of the long light given to them. my question is does the autos do better inside or out? i want to grow for seed this spring then plant again mid summer. how much could i yield per plant outside?

outside does yield lower, because any good auto grower indoors uses 20/4 light cycle.

Average yield is around an oz per plant, if given enough light etc. It all depends on how u grow it.

I too was also wondering but then I obtained some bomb nuggage with a couple seeds in it

that nug has some bomb black bag seeds by surprise, no idea if its indica or sativa shit...

so an ounce outside? i'm goin to get 10 auto aks off of dr chronic. say i have 5 males and 5 females all in the same area will my shit be real seedy cause i was goin to use the seeds i get for a mid summer grow.

Up to an oz. a good estimate would be 15-30 grams. It depends on a lot of things.

Yes they will be real seedy, the males will probable pollinate every bud of the females. No joke. Best idea would be to have all the plants in moveable pots, and when the males appear, move them somewhere FAR away and collect the pods when the mature, then just manually polinate select females.

do you think i have time to do two grows if i start late march early april and b4 september 5th cause i go off to school.

read the info on the seed banks website. I dont remember exactly but it says somehting around 74 days form seed to harvest, that should help ya figure your plan out.

have you grown any autos, what would you reccomend? i want a pound of some dank is it possible if i do the two grows?

I get atleast an ounce per plant outside with auto ak's. If you seed a plant you need to give atleast 2 weeks for the seeds to cure. By doing this you should get 50% germination rate if you let them go 4 weeks or longer usually its 90%. If you want a pound of auto bud plan on doing atleast 22 females of auto ak per grow. I reccomend auto ak because it is the highest yielding auto strain. Your yield will depend on so much such as sunlight, ferts, and growing conditions. I wouldnt plant autos if your looking for a cash crop. But i would say it takes atleast 22-30 females to get a pound so base your outcome on that stat. I hope this helps. If you have more questions send me a PM.

I wanted to try some auto outdoors this season. I was looking at the Ak-47 x Diesel or just the Ak-47 LR. I was gonna plant them among my garden this year, maybe behind a row of corn or beans. I wanna experiment and see not only how they do outdoors but in various locations, among similar height weeds and other plant life.

Nobody is gonna look for 1 ft plants in a field of weeds instead of 5 ft plants in the forest. :)

yeah i like the idea of an auto for outdoors,
small, inconspicuous, can get the benefits of the great outdoors and sunshine w/o having to wait until october to harvest, multiple outdoor harvests per season the list goes on.

i'd take 14 hours of sunlight over 20 hours of any kind of fancy ass hps, cmh, mh kilowatt setup any day.

i've heard really good things about the yield of auto ak's, need a smoke report tho.

i'm gonna grow some lr2's starting the next few weeks

not to say that you will get an ounce
but it might be around there
it is better to grow autos indoors
just seem to work better

I would think since you can have constant light and they don't need 12/12 to flower.

But an outdoor LR experiment would be way cool. Just a whole field of little 1 ft buds. :)

I have 3 mix dwarfs growing from" lowryder." got them inside for now under CLF;s doing 18/6 until the daylight hours change. I do take them outside for the natural sun but since we are only getting about 9 hours a day of good light,i still use the lights. i know in a perfect world they would be outside 24/7 but that won't happen until about 5 weeks. this is the second time that i am growing a auto. the last one only got about 9" high, but tight buds. I gave them some worm casting tea that i made , added some molassas to it. also gave some to my 2 "mangos" that i got going outside. hopefully next week i'll see some changes. gonna keep giving them my worm tea all the way, read that it's suppost to be really good for what grows. hopefully i'll get some tight buds in a few months. gonna germ 3 more dwaqrfs next week. keep it going, hopeing for a male so i can get some seeds.

Sup aunty,

You doing that trash can grow with the dwarfs?

I wanna try it directly in one of my 50 Gal Drum compost bins and do the same thing.

I was gonna add them among my garden this year but no more $ for by the seeds. Next year hopefully after this years crop. :)
