Autoflower and Regular growing together?

Hi all!
Im currently growing three auto's and have been for around 30 days now, i have also had 2 feminized regular Bubble Cheese growing in the same tent with them.
The auto's started to flower about 6 days ago and i have been running the lights on 18/6 since the start, my questions are lol

If i was to change my lights to 12/12 now (so i can start my reg's into flowering) will there be any effects on the auto's?

Like, lower yields or longer flowering time etc?

I always seem to read how 18/6 is ideal for auto's, i would like to know what people think :)

Thanks All!

you would probley yield less but still grow fine, im doing the same thing right now, im just going to wait till the autos are done then switch to 12/12 and flower my reg seeds and do some 12/12/ from seed

What will happen is less potency and yield. The plant has a fixed life time. So o matter how much light you give them they only have so long to achieve their goal.

Split your area in two, and give those auto HPS and allow the veg to veg. That will increase Potency and Yield on both sets. That's what I did. Started my veg and autos same time then moved autos under hps when they started to flower. I got some great potency from autos and 1-3 oz per auto (organic).

Thanks guys, thats exactly what i was worried was going to happen!
I hoping for a christmas harvest and hoping for a large enough yield to last me through the flowering time of my reg's (I Know my hopes are high but miracles do happen lol)

Do you think i will i have any problems if i was to keeps my reg's in veg for 60 days total before flowering?

they will get big so you will probley want to do some lst to keep them low so they wont grow to tall because you will have to raise your light and will be farther from the autos

That would be the best thing you could do. Better yet would be 75 days. Why you ask, well because normally from seed a plant takes 60 days to become mature, and then it start pumping auxins (hormones) well that makes her fill out . Then you go 12/12 and she is HArdcore and ready for a heavy potent yield.

Just use bumper seats, like anything to raise pot/s to a even canopy also fim is a great way to create more tops ( = more buds).

Im liking the sound of that! lol
Thankfully i have enough space in my tent for a 400 w mh which i keep over the one's in veg and the flowering ones are under a 600w hps
Looks like i will be leaving the reg's in veg then, i cant wait to see the end result! :)
Thanks a lot for that help everyone...

EVMK the key to a heavy yield and potent herb is waiting for plant to mature, then wait some more. It's kinda like when you think it's time to harvest, wait one more week.

If its right on time it will be perfect.
But as soon as your auto is flowering switch to 12/12.
It is this kind of advice that keeps me away from having you as a friend. One would think you are either sabotaging his auto's or you are just some kid spouting off nonsense.

As much as i want to see the end result, im in no hurry, i want a nice smoke, hence im growing my own lol
Im just really fed up of buy crappy size bags of supposed high grade off doggy people! lol

If you run hps over the auto's (18/6) then make sure you have something blocking the light from hitting veg. You don't want stretch. I simply wrapped aluminum (dull side facing out) around card board and hung it between lights off the side of my T-5s.

I haven't got it setup like that now, i had a bit of a change around 4 days ago but haven't taken any more photos yet, i will use your idea of the cardboard with foil to separate the two though, i don't know why i hadn't thought of that lol

I have a constant temp of around 76 - 78 now but when i first had them set up, i think i stunted their growth because the temp was getting to the low 50's with the lights off, once i realized that was happening i got a small heater for the lights off time.
The filter you see in the pic is puling cold air in from the outside, i have a filter hung from the top sucking air out, so im currently running two.
Bigger fan up top and smaller fan and a filtered passive air intake at the bottom, directly from outside, its seems to create a nice negative pressure, which i need at the moment as the smell has already started from the auto's!

Whats the temp in there? Your not running the filter yet are you? Fim the tops of all but the auto's like now.
Sorry GoldenGanja13, Im still a newbie grower, this is my first grow, could you possibly explain what you mean when you say Fim the tops?

For a newbie you are doing well and following protocol. I think your leafs (veg) are dry. Being the humidity I am guessing is 55 or so. Foilar feed them, that would help lots. let me see if I have a thread started on fim (very stoned :eyesmoke: ~OG#18 Full Melt).

Fim can be googled for further info but what it is in a nut shell is sniping off the very top of the new growth. That cause's the top to stop and heal then the lowers can get even with top and just below top makes 2- or more tops come up. After 2 weeks you fim all new tops and you know have lots of tops. See my sig below. Also here is some other techniques you may want to look into. https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/237035-guide-training-techniques-lst-sog.html
