Autoflower growers. Lets talk about it.

Let's have a conversation about all the thing we are told not to do with autoflowers and how we as a community buck the trends and try anyway.

What was out findings? Did it affect your grow in a positive or negative fashion?

Some thought to discuss are but not limited to: transplanting, topping, feeding nutes from the get go, defoliation, and so one.

Il start. I began an auto following the fox farms feeding schedule for autos even though I was told to just water for 1st 3 weeks then introduce nutes.

My findings were it stunted my plant right off the line and it never reached potential.

What you say RIU? What trends with autoflowers have you bucked and what were your results?

I'll start with I like experimenting. The best results I've had were from swazzing the plants and giving them nutes after the 1st week of germination. I learned not to grow multiple plants in one 2 gallon pot.( I wanted to see how they fit 20 plants in 1 sq meter.) I also learned that you can transplant them from a solo cup into a bigger pot after 2-3 weeks without much trouble assuming you didn't let it get root bound. I've found some good success using hydro nutes in a soil coco mix.

I can give you visual evidence of autoflowers grown 24/0 during veg and also transplanted once from starter containers to final 3 gallon pots. They weren't finished at this point, but make of them what you will.

EDIT: Also one of them was "topped" by mistake, lol. Shit I keep re-reading your post, they were also selectively defoliated. Toss in some LST and lollipopping and I think that covers it..

I've only used 24 hour lighting also. With the exception of one.which I have in 12 12 with my blueberry. Just a little experiment lol
