Autoflower lighting

I have a few auto flowering ruderalis plants a week or so away from harvest and have spent their whole lives on a 24 hour light cycle. Someone tells me switching to an 18/6 cycle will dramatically increase the yield and crystal production. Is there any truth in this?

yes i would have done that a few weeks ago.
yes id switch to 18/6 or even 12/12.

Sorry no pics...Nothing spectacular to look at. About 5 inches tall and 10 inches wide. 8 sets of main branches, flowering beautifully, plenty of tiny dense buds with pointy long white hairs like a cactus, all saturated in a frosty coating. Smells like a brand new rubber boot. More quality then quantity.

some people start on 24/0 18/0 then 18/6 when started to flower then goto 12/12.
i think thats the fastest and best way.

people say 12/12 lowers yeild

Either the plants didn't take well to the night shift or its about time to harvest...
