Autoflower produced some seeds...??

I have recently harvested my outdoor autoflower. Ive noticed that a couple, not all, have produced some seeds. Not a lot of them, just few that drop when you bust a bud for rolling. Are these going to follow the mother in which they came from? Is this normal or did I get a cross pollination from outdoor somewhere? The plants were under netting their entire cycle, but that is never a guarantee. Its not a huge deal to me, just curious what to do with the seeds...do I want to waste time/power growing them or is it worth my while to give a few of them a go?

Anything could have happened outdoors. Chances are, the resulting seeds are feminized but I wouldn't count on them being autoflower.

Seven years ago I had a Jack Herer auto that produced a few seeds to which I planted those seeds.

Most of those second generation plants produced a few seeds and so have their following generations, so I have this endless supply of seeds.

Autos can “ self preserve “ and throw a fem only response to end of life or stress and toss out a few seeds. Rodelized.

I would store them as they are fem especially if no males were involved.

Theoretically, 50% genes of each parent.
Unless self pollenated.
Is this normal
Not expected. Unless male or intersex plant was present.
did I get a cross pollination from outdoor somewhere?
Possible, sure.
do I want to waste time/power growing them or is it worth my while to give a few of them a go?
Sure, give a few a go!
Who knows what you'll get, though.
Could save them for next outdoor season, even.

The same thing happened to me with my Sper Silver Haze Auto's a couple of grows ago. The plants were stressed right off the bat because of a homemade soil mix I tried. Had a lot of help from the folks on RIU to get through that one. Weren't too many seeds and they were pretty undeveloped, so I tossed them. The weed was super resiny and it seemed to have a hashy smell to me. Good smoke.

Pop a seed and put it under 18/6 in a small pot.
If it autoflowers in a month, you will know that one of your girls had nanners.
If it doesn't auto you know some stray pollen got to them. Could be anything from close by.

well, I'm giving a few seeds a go. certain they wont be auto flower. However, I am hoping they are feminized. I'm just a grower for personal use...so trying to make life a bit easier on myself. I'm enjoying the growing process and watching the development of the plant. Still trying to get my harvest time right. Learning curve. I appreciate all the input

Mine rodilozed and the seeds back then I kept and grew to future autflowers. The seeds didn’t go photoperiod on me
