hi all what is the average veg time for most autoflower plants before then start to flower? i got a 400 hps lamp thanks.:joint:

i read on here the other night that they technically have no veg phase - that they go from seedling to flower - so they only want the flowering lights if i understand correctly.. am i right?

ive found that most of mine started flowering from the fourth node, they are easy bud from royal queen ( i believe ak47 x lowryder 2 ) i have 4 on the go under a 250w HPS with 2 x 75w cfls as sidelights. I grew lowryder 2 a few months back under the same setup and they did the same apart from 1 which got 4ft tall LOL, as far as i no they do have a veg/seedling cycle which lasts no longer than 3/4 weeks

they VEG for 2 weeks in optimal conditions and after the 2 weeks they rapidly start flowering .. all on 20/4 light schedule from seed to harvest

mine are 3 weeks now they are starting to smell abit so i think there getting close, well they still get much bigger maybe by half again in flower?

smallclosetgrowr hi man, jus wondering have you had any auto's that havent been auto's lol?? I havent myself but a friend i have has a diesel ryder thats like 5 foot tall and we have both read on here the great RIU, that its happening quite frequently. So after him switching to 12/12 surely its goin to end up MASSIVE? lol peace mate happy smokin

Not to jack the thread but how do people get multiple harvest's off a auto-flowering plant? This fascinates me lol

As far as I understand you can't if they are a true auto-flowering plant. You can't re-veg them. You can clone them but they are going to start and end flowering the same time as the mom.
Maybe you are thinking a staggered harvest? Like harvesting the main cola when it is ready and leaving the lower bud sites to mature and put on a bit more weight.
