Autoflower Strains

  • hey guys im starting my first grow soon and i was wondering what my setup should be. i have ordered a couple of sweet seed strains (sweet cheese, cream carmel, and s.a.d....all autoflowers) and one purple ryder autoflower from lowryder
I also got one free g13 labs blueberry auto. I was planning on planting one of each strain in an indoor space and was wondering what would the most effective cheap setup be? (lights, soil that i can get easily ie. home depot or osh nutes and fans) btw the room has no windows and is about 8 ft by 5 ft.

I would pick one strain, maybe two. Just so they all stay on the same schedule. I am sure different strains have different periods.

As far as the no window...venting? Thoughts?

Can you do a 400w ballast, or are you thinking about going t5/t8?

Nutes, you can go a million ways. What are your thoughts? How do you want to grow?

Venting is my only issue...i cant have big tubes or anything running throughout my house. As for nutes i think im good i have a hydro store near my pad called superior hydro and im looking for more quality not quantity. Thank you

If it's your first grow, I would strongly recommend using CFL lights. They are cheap, and reliable, and they have low heat output too. This means that you don't have to spend hundreds on a huge HPS set up, with fans, cooling tubes, whatnot...

Soil would be a good growing medium, as it is probably one which requires the least maintenance. Get some basic nutrients for vegging (high nitrogen), and flowering (high phosphorus, and potassium).

Other than that, you should be fine. Auto-Flowering cannabis strains are usually extremely resistant, and forgiving. So i think you should be fine.
