This is my second autoflower grow and both times i've had these tiny little immature seeds in my bud. I've never had a male at all and I have them on a timer. Is it normal for these little seeds to be in the calyx's? I wouldn't even call them seeds, but just the very beginning of a seed starting.

Ok so I thought something ate my flower power, but I only had time to give it a quick glance. After further review, it was just dead, wilted at the end. The plant turned purple very fast, and it was only a few days onld. Im thinking maybe this was something wrong with the plant. It was hot as fuck here the past few days, like record highs for my area, would 90 degree temps kill a seedling that young? Usually not an issue for me, sounds like such a newb question. I have never had a plant do this before. That is, be very healthy looking one day, and just dead the next. Maybe something did bite into it, but the top was still on there, just completely wilted over. And it was watered the day before. So that was not an issue either. Any ideas? Luckily my fast bud and big devil seemed to love the heat, and have grown nicely here lately. I guess anyway, just a newb outdoors with autos myself.

Thanks for the reply, but its not the seed. If you are new then here is a good bit of info, if the seed germinates its a good seed, after that whether it lives or not is up to its grower and environment the grower puts it in. But your right about keeping it inside. I am going to do that this time, like I did with my others. I just prefer to use the sun as much as I can. You cant get a better light. The soil is pro mix bx. Its good stuff, but to be honest, now that I think about it, this is the first plant I have ever started directly in the pro-mix bx. Maybe thats the issue, being that I have never had this issue before, and thats the only thing I did different. Thanks again.

Hey acidbox, you got some great pics there and too bad you had to pull them early, bet it would have been dynamite.

Back in the late '70s I lucked out with some beans in my Afgan hash, man it was the best smoke that was around. It was like 3 tokes off a small spliff and it was couch-lock for 3 hours. Everybody loved it. Just wondering if there's any AF out there that have something close to the kick and quantity. I wouldn't be so direct if it wasn't for my ailing wife, who has R.A.pain.

wiggabe what it looks like to me is that the female has become asexual,, ie at the end of flowering cycle if the female has made itself as pretty as possible and has still not attracted any male pollen, in some cases it will self reproduce. it does this by producing female pollom sacks which look like little blades of grass in th emiddle of ya buds, sometimes yellow. have a look next time and see if u can see any .. it happened to my last grow- nlights, huge foxtails and then started producing sacks.. hope that explains it a little

if it's not flowering by itself, then unfortunately, it does not have the autoflower gene. You will have to put it on 12/12 for it to flower.

You can use 2 liter pots but i would use bigger pots to get maximum hight!

80 DAYS!!! Has anyone had this problem, they've been switched to 12/12 for 9 days now

Wiggabee... In addition to what sweetsmoker has said if the seeds had time to mature they would all have been female seed plants, something like feminized, but only nature taking care of it. Breeders use chemicals to induce stress to make the plant think its the end of its life cycle. They soak the buds down with silver chloride (?) to stress the plant into making a future generation. You get female seeds, and a bunch of poisoned bud that you can't smoke.That's why they charge more for fems.
