Thanks I appreciate it, and even as a relative newbie here on the board I'm aware of the Joint Doctor's reputation ;). Like I said, I don't claim to have any experience or knowledge at growing autos, save for what people have told me in reply to my questions, and what I've read all around. More than one person with FFOF/auto experience told me that the FFOF was VERY strong in nutes and that I really shouldn't need any, and if I DID use any to use 1/2 to 1/4 the dosage, but that's all I can say. I appreciate the link, I'll soak it all in and go from there.

My seeds arrived yesterday and I've got one germinating right now. Obviously not going to do them all at once and screw them all up lol, I'll get one going, and if it gets off to a good start I'll probably get a couple more going. That way one will be 1-2 weeks ahead and I can apply lessons learned from the guinea pig to her siblings ;).
I saw that subcool posted that ffof and light warrior mix was a very good mix. I believe it said something about in the new subcool super soil post a couple months ago.

Speaking of stability, I was originally going to buy feminized easy ryders for my first autos. Thing is, the nonfeminized are cheaper and mainly, I would just as soon limit how many times I buy seed. If I bought nonfeminized and let the first grow go to seed, would the seeds be stable?

Dude it's really hard to tell without a pic...At least tell us more about the plant and the growing conditions. How old is the plant? What's the current feeding and watering schedule? What's the lighting situation? If it's that first set of round leaves then don't worry about it, that always happens.

I also need some more info on the breeding situation. I recently bred auto hindu kush with white dwarf. Ive got some seeds i produced at just over 30 days looking really great, already packed with resin on the leaves. Just wondering what I would need to do to "stabilize" this now.

im sure if you bred a nice thick male with good characteristics with one of your best females your seeds would turn out primo. Go for Gold!

i cant up load pics! its only the botom leave goin bright yello i think its nitrogen deficiency so should i give them more nutes bro?
Depending on what stage (veg or flower) and how long they have been in that stage, yellowing can be 100% normal. Especially if it is only the lower leaves, if you are in flower Id say your buds are stealing the life from your lower leaves like they should. If you're in veg, just make sure to keep them watered and not too much, if it spreads to other leaves then you may have a deficiency. Nothing worse than thinking you do and adding a bunch of nutes when you dont need them. That can stunt your plant big time and reduce the yield and quality.

Get a pic up if you can, we could help more.

if they are autos then at day 23 if they not flowering they will be shortly, if i was you id up my nute strength. do you have a ppm meter? at that strength its possible your plants already ate all the nutes in your water and you need to add more nutes more often..hopefully someone who has grown hydro can help you more in this area for all my knowledge on hydro comes from research, i havent grown hydro myself so want to let you know that but im pretty sure thats correct info ;) anyone to confirm.

the leafs that already are yellow wont turn back green, some leafs will more than likely continue to turn yellow as your grow progresses some people dont worry about it and say it is normal for a flowering plant, but i try to keep mine green through the whole grow cuz Uncle Ben said thats the thing to do lol ;) again ive never grown hydro but from what i hear should notice differnce in chages very shortly unlike soil which may take a few days. GL you really should look into getting a PPM meter if your going to grow hydro might be able to find a cheap one on ebay...

Nirvana Bubblelicious Fem Auto at day 28 and still no sign of sex. Should I switch from 18/6 to 12/12?

View attachment 1106290

I did after 35 days of veg. Check out my journal sig.I have 3 Nirvana FEM Auto Bubblelicous growing.
They got pretty bushy, and just showed signs of sex after 3 days of 12/12 (day 38 from seed i think)
The one in the middle is 28 days from seed.

Technically, if you have to switch to 12/12 to flower, you do not have an auto. Ive heard of this more and more from nirvana, as well as other breeders. Fortunately, I have never had an "auto" that required 12/12, and I have never had to wait more than 16 days to see signs of sex. My diesel ryder males would start showing balls as early as 11 days from seed, females as early as 13!!

I would write them and complain, they may send you some freebies or even replacement beans. Then again, you technically arent supposed to germinate them, so who knows.

Good luck

I couldn't agree with you more. Both sets of autos I've done all showed in 2-3 weeks. I think 9 out of 10 nirvana auto grows I've seen never autoflowered. It's none of my business really but all I know is that I'd be pretty mad if I ordered auto seeds and they never autoflowered. According to their website, Nirvana is making good on it so any of you guys that got bad seeds should let them know. Hopefully they replace them as soon as they get all the bugs worked out.
